best to replace the cable. If u go to shop they can get better quality and better workmanship.

Hi sifus. If ip is 115 is it public ip?
*
Check if ur WAN IP matched with speedtest and ur router,
if matched = public
not matched = cgnat-ed

Unifi technician came today to install new wifi router for SWU 4.0 extra. so my timeline:

31/1: submit application to migrate to Maxis
1/2: received call from Unifi sales and counter offer for SWU 4.0 extra
6/2 morning: order created and chat with Unifi to reconfirm the package for SWO 4.0
6/2 afternoon: Technician call and came for wifi 6 installation

all together about 6 days
*
.

May I know what is the counter offer SWU 4.0 package? Thanks.

You could check the signal strength on the modem

Fiber splicing requires expensive hardware, so... probably contact TM

You mean check thru speedtest? It is able to run at full speed. How much costs if to be replace by TM technician?

Here's what my ex-tm tech friend said to me,
its still fine as long the modem LOS red light not lit up, so its not a big concern
but you're concern and since your fiber cable is yellow, I assume that you house has a fiber wall socket, you can replace by yourself, just buy a patch cord just like this photo below...

No, if you login to the modem (not router) there is usually a section somewhere to check fiber reading

It should be a negative number like -18dBm

-25 to 28 ish is considered bad

Hi,

What is the maximum mesh unit can be use with Fiberhome AX3000 main router?

I just upgrade my unifi to 500mbps.
Currently use Fiberhome AX3000 as main router and Fiberhome AX1800 as mesh.

I plan to add another mesh but not sure either AX3000 can support more than 1 mesh or not.

Thank you

it depends on the ISP and modem, im not sure for TM but some models were really complicated to get into

for Huawei ones, root/adminHW or telecomadmin/admintelecom may be worth a shot trying
or try and google and see if it some other password was ever mentioned in the forums

also the modem doesn't have DHCP enabled so you will need to assisgn yourself a static ip

I think there are also youtube videos out there on how to login to unifi provided modems

If you're experiencing difficulty logging into your Unifi member's account while using the Chrome browser, you might try using the Incognito browser mode. It appears that clearing cache and data may not be effective in the default browsing mode. Alternatively, you can use other browsers such as Firefox to log in.
