Need an advice from sifus here:-

I have my old ASUS AC1900 which i stopped using after TM installed 2pc Dlink AX3000 where 1 as main & 1 as mesh downstair.

Is there anyway that i can utilize back the AC1900 to improve my currect setup or better to just leave as it is by using both AX3000 only??

if current setup has no issues/deadzone then just keep it collecting dust or sell it off cheap cheap

if got deadzone, put there as repeater

Gomen. Supply PC with such specs but ask staff to attend online meeting.

Most syok, masuk online meeting then Pengerusi mengamok why no one turns on their cameras to show face and no one responds to his questions.

Until Pengerusi secretary have to explain to him.

Just find the cheapest you can. Some ppl do sell the TM router at a crazy price.

My bill is out I paid RM159 for 300,now I pay RM159 for 500mbps a speed I dint need,so much for MSAP! Add ST its almost RM170! mad.gif  Cheaper internet by right  shld hv been my 300mbps bill reduced

Unfortunately you have to go to Tmpoint to request the cheaper 300mbps. Otherwise all existing users get free upgrade, a strategy for TM to maintain ARPU. Try ask for SWU 3.0.
Many people seems happy to get free upgrade, but I get it that some prefer to stay on current plan with lower price, which TM should provide online application for them to opt in.

QUOTE(3nf0rc3r @ Oct 13 2023, 09:46 AM)
Not upload speed drop, the upload speed was not upgraded. It stayed at 10mbps. Only download speed upgraded from 30mbps to 100mbps. If there is anything wrong with the fiber drop cable, then download would not be achieving 100mbps. Fiber cable is passive by nature, it facilitates transfer of data regardless of direction.

+1, or just put for IoT, best solution is always split those lower powered + <wifi6 device into another old wifi router. thumbsup.gif
So it don't crash with talktime of your latest wifi6 smartphone or laptop etc. icon_rolleyes.gif

Based on some info, you need to go ask SWU 3.0, and some account got special plan.

Like the leaked photo showing there is RM 69 100M SWU 3.0, and also someone get applied for RM 69 500M as well.
Everything is possible to be offered, just the problem is you need to check it via TMPoint. doh.gif

those got the new router (either dlink 3060 or the fiberhome) from tm, do they still lock the SSID name with locked @unifi suffix that you're unable to change?

Currently am using own Tplink AX50

And here is the refer for local wifi testing la, as I got my pc connected via cable, so I can do iperf by cable to wifi. wink.gif
---
Based on WiFi5 80MHz, 2:2 antenna, I get
Mate 20: 400-480 Mbps
Redmi Note 9s: 280-350 Mbps

What's a surprised, Mate 20 will be disconnected on kitchen(Redmi Note 9s still working), but it give higher speed lol.
Guess lower power for Mate 20, but greater antenna design la. smile.gif

For my cable's network card, seem like chipset issues lol, googled a lot info about it, and many laptop/motherboard surfer the same, some even get it fixed via SSD OP enabled lol.

Still, I just stick it back to 100M la, enough already. smile.gif

If got, I think can bypass for dlink app?
Nope? tongue.gif

If hardcoded into firmware, then no choice la.
Else, via app or backup file(not possible, encrypted lol) restore or telnet might able to bypass it. hmm.gif

Dlink 1860 and 3060 don't have the @unifi suffix. The Aztech router for 30M still do.

For 300 plan, I see unifi 500. How do you guys conclude it is permanent? Because no more 6 or 12 months speed upgrade wording?

Hi is there a detailed manual on setting up QOS for SR1041F router?

The menu given and online is very brief.

For those getting new wifi and MESH routers under SWU 3.0, are we able to get the admin username and password for those routers from TM technician so that we can amend the settings as we need?

i thought TM have it printed underneath on label. no?

unlike Maxis, which have several level of secretive usernames inside its customised routers, "richer" than the one printed on label.
