Is there even any way for us to return the Fibrehome and ask for at least one decent DLink router? I feel scammed 🥹🥹🥹

You are free to do anything with the mesh router except return 🙄

lol at my 11 years old laptop, after upgraded 100M, my 480Mbps USB 2.0 unable to handle it, randomly stop transmit.

Going back to cable, keep loosen.
Spray WD40 and mop the port pin, solved, but 1Gbps still will disconnect randomly.

Setting it back 100Mbps then, lol.

The price of upgrading, lol. wink.gif

I suspect that the DIR-X3060Z is OEM variant of DIR-X3000Z custom built for TM, it could also be an inferior one. There is literally no information about it online.

Easy, check the chipset, if same, then same.
Most of the time only it got different logo, or the LED different(like ac1200v2, you flashed EU the LED will invert).

Are you trying to say this is OEM?

I'm pretty sure it's just the same router with a different casing

It's also seen as this
https://www.netis-systems.com/Home/detail/id/243.html

Checking FCC, it's powered by MediaTek

Try to look at the overview of this

https://www.dlink.com.my/product/ax3000-mes...ireless-router/

It does mention about x3060z. So there you go. The official site of x3060z.

Basically x3000z = x3060z. The difference is x3060z is from Unifi. As for the OEM doubt, we will never know unless someone is willing to open the router and check the components inside, and compare each other.

Ok understood now....just googled about these products...seems so, Maybe Dlink build is outsourced to China, and given the rights to produce OEM.

2x units atm, 700Dl/350UL on IP15Pro tongue.gif, connected currently via 1GB to a cheapo China PoE 1G unmanaged switch, will try again when I have the 10GB switch up and running to see if I can hit higher speeds biggrin.gif

Yeah I'm just gonna sell off the Fiberhome mesh routers as I've now gotten myself the TP-Link AX73, even better than both of them combined with my experience so far biggrin.gif

I'm eyeing on TP Link AX55 as I got too familiar with TP Link routers. Their UI experience is polished.

Yup, except you are using it purely for local transfer, better resale it before the value getting down. wink.gif

Fyi, D-Link and Netis, both of them are coming from Taiwan. Some website and business platforms claimed those are from China because in their mind Taiwan is part of China.

If you watch YouTube review, many China reviewers said that Asus router is their local product, while Asus HQ is located in Taiwan. You get the idea. Lol

TP LINK is from China though, if you wonder.
