The unifi special discount is from the actual price, not the nett price we are subscribing. Example, 500mbps supposed to be RM249 and after the special discount it is RM119. Main thing is the 6 months fee waiver.

UPDATE: Got my friend and my cousin brother to join the SWU 3.0 RM119 gang. Both kena RM39 postpaid for 1 month though, they were told too many ppl know about the plan so they need to limit a bit LMAO

His screenshot also showing a bit higher upload than normal 100M plan, then it should be another problem, like port speed or fiber...

what the heck, I was expecting them to upgrade my RM89/30mbps line in December at earliest.

Just did a speed test, seems my line is around 90mbps/55mbps. It could be my old 100mbps switch giving problem.

Normally TM will cap speed slightly above the advertise speed, when I was 30mbps/10mbps line, speed test result consistently at 35mbps/20mbps.


oh well Fahmi finally ""delivers" I guess? Not what I want, I wanted lower price, better than nothing lol

free upgrade to 100mbps is completed . no notifications of any kind . off /on modem to find out that upgrade was completed.

You misunderstood. Not that bend fiber don't affect the download and upload speed. If upload speed affected, then download speed also must be affected. While contractors and developers like to pull two core fiber drop cables, only one core is connected and in use while the other is for standby.

So good, while my download speed upgrade from 30mbps to 100mbps. The upload still stuck at 10mbps.

How long i takes for hq approval? My siblings request for swu3.0 but after register they said need to wait hq approval. No contract left.

3-4 hours for me

Note sure some said 2 days. My case yesterday counter girl also told me need email approval as written in slip she gave me. Applied around 2.45PM. 4PM received order details SMS (in MyUnifi app too) and installer appt date

no sms, better than get upgrade done sms , and find out nothing happen.
saw 3 to 4 cases @lowyat.net already, just in 3 days. mostly 30Mbps -> 100Mbps .

previously i was sceptical about the permanent upgrade as the T&C stated 1 year
but with the recent announcement that existing users will be granted speed upgrade automatically
then the permanent upgrade would be making sense
since swu 3.0 package user will also be eligible for speed upgrade
i.e. SWU3.0 300 Mbps will be automatically upgraded to 500Mbps (the latest annoucement) indefinitely instead of 1 year only (swu T&C)

depend, I apply 2 SWU3, 1 took me less than 24hours to reflect, another one took 3 days.
