Yeah, I guess I will. I used my spare Android phone to try it, and it works. The login screen is the same as the old iOS app before the update. Just input my phone number and PIN (set earlier).
At least I can log in now using Android.

thn it's app issue and not your account issue already

Probably. If login with mobile no. and PIN will work but unfortunately this selection is no longer available in the latest iOS app update. sweat.gif

Oh, so I'm not alone. I think this only affects users with no other U Mobile no.

So, if you are using an iPhone, please do not update to the latest version of app. However, I'm not sure if they will still allow you use the old version, if they do, please continue using it. tongue.gif

i suggest having BOTH fiber and 5G, 5G as your backup line.

because fiber stability is much better than 5G, trust me on this one.

instead of having one fibre & one 5g. I'm planning to use two 5g instead.

yes ft5g prepaid rm25 with auto reload (ehem router)
uhome rm68 24m contract with the supplied router

monthly cost: rm72 (with +6%) + rm25 = rm97 only.

i just need about 100mbps connection only. mostly just to watch Netflix & prime video.

Mine is V1.00(ACBJ.0)b15. Have you checked if there's a firmware update?

There has been quite some reported cases of FT5G users' internet being blocked by Yes as their usage was too high, breaking the fair usage policy and a result of using ahem router.

In so to speak, YES can detect high usage from modded modem and block you.

if you're looking for solution for better routing to china...changing ISP isn't it because the whole malaysia is known to have bad connection with china
it might have improved over the years but it's still bad
it's not something that's controlled by ISP or telco

you're better off looking at VPN instead

I think with FT5G you are still lack of hotspot sharing quota.

It seems like lately my network test rarely goes above 200Mbps liao... but at least its not laggy.

Router after reset is godlike... I did cool it with a router fan though...

why u need dual 5G ?
5G minimum speed is 100mbps set by MCMC
and u need qualcomm inside 5G modem based on user feedback

not really work as for now since 5g using same dnb tower. unless you can aim to another 5g dnb tower which i think not really practical?
unless the second 5g wholesale network is up

Just returned home from work cum dinner. Noticed that the router led turned green which indicate 4G network (even though I already set 5G NSA only). Login to my router showed it's still connected to 5G. I guess UM doing some hanky panky between 5g/4g switching. Speed is really slow now... 15Mbps.
