Does anybody with just U Home 5G account having issue to login to the latest MyUMobile app? iOS prompted an update so after updated the app, my account was logged out. I wanted to login again, after filling in everything under Broadband and trying to get an OTP then this error popped up.

There’s no U Mobile store nearby to me.. I just want to see the quota used through the app.

The mobile number you input --》 your own mobile number or uhome 5G number? It should be 11 digit number of your Uhome 5G mobile number. Mine, i obtained the otp via the Uhome 5G modem UI under sms. My modem x50 5G

I tried mobile no. section, it asked me to use email instead because it is a broadband no. Tried broadband then it shows this. sweat.gif

i think u need to give their CS a call

Yeah, I guess I will. I used my spare Android phone to try it, and it works. The login screen is the same as the old iOS app before the update. Just input my phone number and PIN (set earlier).
At least I can log in now using Android.

Probably. If login with mobile no. and PIN will work but unfortunately this selection is no longer available in the latest iOS app update. sweat.gif

Oh, so I'm not alone. I think this only affects users with no other U Mobile no.

So, if you are using an iPhone, please do not update to the latest version of app. However, I'm not sure if they will still allow you use the old version, if they do, please continue using it. tongue.gif

I'm pretty happy with Zyxel NR5103E. I got it for around RM 480, including air shipping from China.

So far, it has been stable, and the speed is good. WiFi signal is also not bad, and it has good coverage.

I used Yes Flexi 5G with it before changing to U Home 5G.

Yes. Taobao. I guess can’t get this price anymore. I got it last year October or November.

Anyone experiencing slow network speed?

On sunday, I can get between 200-300Mbps but today its back down to 30Mbps... some hanky panky going on with UM. Im gonna launch a complaint and see how it went.
*
Nope. All OK here in Seremban.

Am I the only who’s using Zyxel NR5103E? I’m pretty happy with it, no major issue and speed has been consistent and stable though.

Hi,
I am using a variant of it, NR5103V2.
Over last week, it was madness with many DC's. Prior to that, it's been very stabled and my last forced reboot was 35 days...

And it seems to be stable again. I guess something funny was going on!
*
Is it due to the network and not the router?
V2 looks so good. laugh.gif

Yeah, same here. Mine is the "3" model bought from Taobao. My only complaint is the size. laugh.gif

Why? Is it too big?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

Yeah, big for me. I have the old Huawei B618 LTE router for many years so when I got this router last year, I was shocked by the size and it is bigger. laugh.gif
I thought technology will make stuff smaller and sleeker. laugh.gif

I used  Zyxel NR5103E too since the early period of 5G adoption, in fact I had two, sold one and keep the other as backup ..at that time it was expensive, now I switched to X50 5G to compliment with my X50 POE mesh system.
*
Nice. I believe X50 would be better?

If you are referring to the TP LInk Deco X50, it is no smaller than your current Zyxel...

Yeah, I know in fact all 5G routers seem to be gigantic. laugh.gif

Lol.. Coming from using a Tplink MR6400 router to my current NX510v, i feel like my tong sampah NX510v is smaller..  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

Actually I don't mind the size but just surprised that all 5G routers are not that small. sweat.gif

Smallest & slim 5G is MC801A1, me feel it's slightly better than NR5103E. By the way me had both 3 version MC801A1 & NR5103E.

The price is also higher. laugh.gif

bigger chassis to allow for better heat dissipation?

tighter, smaller chassis will just cause faster overheat and would require additional cooling.

Could be the purpose.

Same. Bought the "3" model off Shopee during a sale (Got it for RM520 - earlier managed to get it for RM490 during a sale but Shopee stupid payment system kept the payment pending until after the sale is over  mad.gif  bangwall.gif )

I have since bought the Olax G5010 for use at office - surprisingly able to get and maintain 5G signal even indoor at an area about 1km outside official coverage - same area has very weak 4G coverage. Speed not bad too peaking at around 150Mbps
*
I got it at RM 470 from Taobao last Oct, almost a year now. Now cannot find back this price. So, I assume I hit a good deal.

I didn't know there is a MiFi for 5G already. thumbup.gif That Olax looks good but since U Home 5G is just a spare line and we have a fiber at home, I don't want to spend more now but this looks like a good stuff to be honest.
