I was speechless when I'm able to connect to 3G at 450kbps in a room (w/o outside windows) near Taman Ipoh Jaya, which mind you, used to be a ONLY GPRS connection available area. I must say, thank you Maxis for not making me regret in bringing my laptop back to my hometown....

yesterday my maxisbb detect celcom 3g in zte page and cant connect internet about 10 minutes aihh

hi just to check with u guys here, my friend stay at ss2 and only able to get 10KB~20KB for bitcomet and some time ever less then that. so any one here is stay at ss2 here also facing the same problem just just my friend have this kind of problem? thanks for answer

Maxis is throttling the bandwidth of Bit Torrent including Bit Comet etc. Its only fully opened between 1am to 6am. Well, sometimes in daytime once a while u may get some dl speed.

Hello.I am new user for 3.6M packages, registered on 31 Jan. I live in shah alam. On my 1st day, my average speed just 380++kpbs. sooooooooo slow compared to packaged i registered. anyone who live here experience same issues. if i want to terminate my account, will i be charge? and if i want to downgrade to 384 package, what should i do. i want to set wifi on my home,. will this make my connection slower (considering internet sharing). ???

i realized that these 2 3 days i've been getting over 100+kBps (around 100~150kBps) during the morning, which is a joy to me because it's been a long time since i got that speed

yeah.. noticed it too.. the 58.x.x.x/storefront/..../connect.do no longer works either... maybe they heard our prayers...

i noticed that now our modem starts with HSDPA unlike last time which starts with UMTS... it seems now it just starts with HSDPA but then falls back quickly to UMTS...surfing any page still brings it back up to HSDPA... maybe a workaround to fend us idiots off...

raking in new customers is more money to make than maintaining u...they can get an extra RM100 for every new account...

i think there is a 7 day refund policy according to boonboon.. so be quick and return it if you think you are going to regret...

actually... why do you need to access that 58.71.141.14 site... if you need to check your account...there is always www.maxis.com.my/maxisbb

i think they now manage to get the modems to go up to HSDPA everytime you try to surf any page...

yes, u can downgrade. but u nid to sign new contract. so become 18month back.

You can do in Maxis Center, or call the Customer service helpline to do that: 1800 82 2000

You can try ask them not to renew the contract, with the reason your area can't get higher speed.

Oh...i didnt pay my last bill..and now Im getting EDGE connection for 2 days

so, is it a connection problem or maxis stopping my connection coz i didnt pay my bill? oh my...

How about upggrade still need to sign new contract ?

how long you did not pay your bill... i last asked them if i can pay once every 2 months and they say it is OK... i pay my phone bill once every 2 months too so i do not need to go maxis centres every month just because of the broadband...

Yeah, maxis umts-enabled it 2 mths ago. I am logging in using ZTE modem. Surprise to find UMTS connection since 2 months ago, which used to be GPRS only. My location near Stadium Perak
