I have downloaded 25 GB since last Thursday. thumbup.gif

And last 2 days, the speed is kind of good. I downloaded 8.4 GB in less than 2 days. That's good enough for me. wink.gif

I think Maxis is really upgrading the service. They should be, after getting a lot of customer since the last PC Fair, they got a lot of money already.

And because of that too upgrading is inevitable. More customers, more traffic.

What is this penalty means?

I go to maxis KLCC HQ, the customer service said it is the 18 months contract penalty (means u r paying the bill up to 18 months as the contract applied). Is this everyone account also have this penalty?

Attached Image

last 2 months, I chage the billing address and my power package was automatic downgraded to starter package, I was asking why, the customer serviced said to me that maybe it is a system error, and she can directly changed back to power package to me.

I was asking whether that I violated the contract (downgrade) that why I get that "pemalty contract"? She said no, she offer me to terminated without penalty, but I have lost confident on her. (speak without honestly, she thought she can control the contract. blink.gif ) So, I asking sinced the system error to downgrade my package, can I request upgrade to RM138 power package with USB modem? Then she said "can, terminate the current package without penalty and re-apply the RM138 package." At the moment, I start wonder about what she said. Another male customer service beside her told her "actually can upgrade to RM138 without re-apply." After this, I was totally disappointed on their customer service. They cant even know how to solve this problems. At last, I request to recover my power package as original applied. Just I still suspect about the "penalty contract". It is really like what they said?

Can u all try check whether urs account have "penalty contract"?

Forcing it on the customers and tying them with 18 months iron chain, if not they won't acknowledge your sales? That's a nice treatment for you MEPs.

They are actually feeling the pressure now.Once TMnet launches mainstream 10mbps ADSL2+ and VDSL2 to their subscribers, with new 3G entries like DiGi 3G and Umobile, the snakes will start pissin in their pants. No more tongue twisting excuses.
