Hmmm.... looks like Maxis is having yet another technical glitch. I2G is running fine but my area is getting intermittent Mobile Signal disruption, even my "012" also facing a minute or so "zero signal" issue. Hmmm...... i really started to think that Maxis started to deteriorate after the privatization exercise.

I was checking the coverage of HSDPA for Klang Valley using the coverage map in Maxis Broadband website. The map shows that in KLCC and the surrounding area of it, is NOT covered for HSPDA, only 3G. Isn't funny?

If you try to surf near the water fountain at the front, u will get strong signal at UTMS running at 700kbps constantly.... but not inside KLCC shopping area. |

QUOTE(JWCheah @ Jan 22 2008, 10:30 AM) Strange.... speedtest.net yesterday shows the map with the missing of CyberJaya (Gizmo) on it.... wondering what's going down there? Any1 from the Cybie with info to share......? yeah... it was back sometime late this morning... maybe it got knocked off the grid for a while or something...but speed terribly slow yesterday.... i was only managing a slow sub 200kbps without anything else running on my other computers... QUOTE(wrigglerr @ Jan 22 2008, 05:15 PM) Looks like his complaint a genuine one....................well, almost all those using Maxis WBB one time or the other are facing the same problem. except for the disconnection issues... he is getting 1.28Mbps... i don't understand why did he complained about the 1.28Mbps... Maxis only said it is capable of 3.6Mbps but never guaranteed it... |

This is to ensure that there is no difference too big from the speedtest site. I found that sometimes speedtest peaks more than what my task manager shows.I am using the normal USB modem Package only. |

I can get constant 200kb/s before 9pm. But will be slower after tat... around 80kb/s++ |
