Need recommendations for gloves. Here are my requirements
- good airflow
- can feel things on my fingertips. With my current glove I struggle to find the zip on my jacket and take out TNG card from my wallet.
- safe(ish)

sorry to break it to you... but any safe glove will make you struggle to hold the zip at your jacket or pick the card from your wallet.
the thickness is necessary to protect your skin from abrasion.

put tng card in a dedicated card holder with lanyard attached to it.
put it in a pocket that is easy to access or have a fanny pack.

alternatively, take off one side of the glove so its easier to pick your pocket.

What u need is zipper pull. Knot tie to the zip for easy reach.

This is the best method imho. Get a retractable lanyard and just need to unzip the top part of the jacket to access the card. I do this for my housing access card as well but so far all the parking i went to have a gap enough for bikes to pass by

what helmet you guys using?
which brand is good but less expensive?

i realize a good helmet very important in comfortable riding
currently using a cheap open face helmet

i only ride on weekend since i got my bike. till last week cny holiday, i ride everyday wearing my cheap openface helmet, ths helmet only cut minimmal wind even with visor down and create alot of wind noise when riding high speed.

now my head feel dizzy and my ear feel uneasy.

with budget below 400 currently aiming at KYT or LS2 but LS2 cutting really small even for XXL
which other brand are worth consider?

kyt or zeus fullface might fit within your budget but I would suggest increase budget to something like HJC C70

400 is basically almost scraping the barrel bottom. Try something like HJCs entry level helmets. If noise levels are what you are looking at, you'd be looking at something well over 1-2k. I have a cheaper solution to that though. Just wear earplugs. All helmets are loud. Just that premium helmets are less loud.

A sub 400 Kyt and Zeus isn't really much of an improvement. I have a spare Zeus 613...a sub 400 helmet. I can't say it's usable past 100 if you still need to use your ears.

No helmet, no matter how expensive or premium can cut down wind noise enough to protect your hearing.

Get earplugs. 3M orange ones work very very well. Inexpensive as well.

Cheap and cheerful, can try LS2 brand. Be sure to try it in person for the right fit, it should be snug on the head. And get full face lah, if jatuh usually the chin goes first... a bit hard to eat KFC without lower jaw.

Its being a while i spoke about my Looser lesen journey. I was away for personal reason so managed fine time to finish it. I need to redo 6 hours of Kpp02 & Kpp03 in order to take the pre and actual JPJ test cos I am away from the school for more than one year and I would like to complete it before my 2 year L is up.

Do you guys wear full gear on track? Camt wear full face at my driving school.
Last time used to wear riding jacket which makes things hot but it does save me when i accidentally clutch dump and the bike roll forward and hit the kerb with me falling down with it.

Not sure if i should wear riding pants? Wonder if it really helps for litar since the padding is only on knee and also ass part.

Oh yeah I definitely going to wear my riding boots and gloves for sure.

No harm gearing up for riding school session and the test. Just that some schools prefer you to use an open face so they can see what you are looking at.

Boots definately wear. Gloves definately. That big bike won't be fun if you are caught under it say if someone falls off the titi.

In fact, I was made an example by the instructor of what one should be wearing when on a bike. That was a good feeling. Vindicated for dressing up and baking under the heat.

Nice of your instructor making you example of proper riding kit, too bad the place I am people thing I am crazy

Also they make a massive point to tell me full face helmet is big no no (thankfully i have old cheapo open face helmet to use)

My riding jacket i have removed the front chest protector since most are slow speed stuff and making it not too hot when under the sun and thankfully it was white colour too.

Usually riding boots, what is the properway to shift up shift up using ankle or you move whole leg upward or downwards in order to shift? Cos my boots really lock the ankle so hard to move it around haha
