This piece of news concerns the new 2009 Honda City. A reliable source tells me Honda will begin production of the new Honda City in Thailand this coming September. It will launch in Thailand between November or December of this year.

Malaysia should get the new City come March/April, so potential buyers who are thinking about getting a City now may want to wait. No info on pricing

Is there a significant or noticeable change/improvement using K&N? in terms of fuel consumption, power and stuffs?

Thats not advisable, as you will suffer in terms of repayment smile.gif

Suggest that you save up more before you get the car.

The warranty and the free maintenance are 2 different things.

Free maintenance is until 40,000 KM or 2 years if I'm not mistaken.

For the warranty, its until 100,000 KM or 3 years.

If you read the manual book, there's a list for things that are under warranty and things that are not covered by the warranty.

So yeah, from 45,000 KM onwards, the maintenance fee is on you. But 1 thing to take note is, the 100,000 KM warranty is only applicable when you service your City at the official SC.

really? smile.gif

must try when my next service is due. how about fuel consumption tho, no change?

on the other hand, i feel my city is a bit harsh on bumpy roads. is there any owner mods their city to be more comfort? adjust suspension, etc etc.

aftermarket springs are usually stiffer than your current suspension. they're designed more to improve handling of the car than giving more comfort.

FRONT 2.55 kg/mm REAR 5.2 kg/mm
This is the spring rate for your stock suspension spring.

And most common sport springs in the market has much higher spring rate than the stock so u'll get an even stiffer/harder ride.

thats for changing springs alone. havent even start on adjsutables

Correct. Note that battery warranty is 40,000km or 2 years only, whichever comes first. Also, HU is covered by warranty, speakers are not.

dont u feel that the culprit might be on our seat? dont u think its much harder seat compared to other cars? maybe thats part of the reason u feel the bumps to ur spine. hahah u want a softer suspension, tein has them but would set u back around 3k+. now another question pops out in the mind, willing/worth it to pay? ahhah

once installed, i can see the RPM lower bit at idle. FC wise..not much different. It can last 100,000km or more, if average 10,000km you change the air filter once, you do the math smile.gif

Lately im trying power boaster (those type plug to ciggy 12V socket) which intro by fren, it does improve on electricity part. Obviously city is more responsive when low speed going through those road bump, head lamp lighting is brighten too, the most important is Im purposely put a heavy right foot still manage to get around 464km at Rm82, 496km at rm89 icon_idea.gif rclxm9.gif

With the cleaning kit selling at Rm70 each time u still need to do the cleaning, i am sure it's higher then the stock filter. icon_rolleyes.gif
