With the cleaning kit selling at Rm70 each time u still need to do the cleaning, i am sure it's higher then the stock filter.  icon_rolleyes.gif

FYI, cleaning kit at every 80,000km apply once. yet, the cleaning kit isn't just used for once in a bottle

hm,

is there any feasible way to make the ride softer?

coz i much much prefer comfort tho.

1. if u changed to softer suspension, u sacrifice ur handling..if budget is not a problem, than go for adjustable

Agreed, on the other hand, if you are no speed racer or drifter, the cost of handling for comfort is well worth it.

if u want a lowered look and not sacrificing too much of comfort,

Eibach Pro Kit + GAB Sports Absorber

Eibach is progressive spring type so during normal drive its sorta like stock but the spring rate will increase accordingly to your speed n load.

Another one is Mugen Sports Suspension which is super comfortable n lowered only by 20mm all around.

Stock Spring Rate
FRONT 2.55 kg/mm REAR 5.2 kg/mm

The Mugen Special Sports Suspension kit
FRONT 2.7kg/mm REAR 5.32k/mm

As you can see the spring rate is just stiffer by 10-15% than your stock suspension.

compare the spring rates of other common brand for our ride

Tanabe DF210
Advertised Drop: 1.8/1.3 (45.7/33.0)
Advertised Spring Rates: (3.1/4.9)

Tanabe GF210
Advertised Drop: 1.5/0.9 (38.1/22.9)
Advertised Spring Rates: (3.4/5.0)

Tein S.Tech
Advertised Drop: 1.8/1.2 (46/31)
Advertised Spring Rates: (2.9/6.0)

Espelir ASD
Advertised Drop: F 30-35mm, R 25-30mm
Advertised Spring Rates: (3.2/5.5)

hey guys... just got my new honda city i-dsi a couple of weeks ago. Reaching 1000km soon. I just called the honda service center and the guy told me 1st service is just check-up and no oil change whatsoever and oil change is only at 5000km service.

Is that true? I thought all cars supposed to change engine oil + oil filter at 1st service. blink.gif

No worry, the oil can usually last more than 5000km. After 5000km service also no problem. Enjoy your city
