got a test drive yesterday. vtec version.
feels tall when i entered the cockpit. the interior was nicely built. Love the steering design. love the seats and all the knobs. when driving, the steering was very light! all looks positive, i'll join u guys soon enough. thinking to get the grey color. and now thinking whether to get the modulo kit or not... QUOTE(aarex @ Oct 21 2007, 01:28 PM) Cool! Congratulations ya. U poison me again...i also like the CVT that make the car so smooth in changing the gear and the most is 7 speed mode steermatic too. got the F1 driving feel la... haha, honda was right, city is fun to drive BTW, how much discount tat the SA gv u??? yesterday i went to the honda showroom @ mofaz building near ikea there. The SA gave me only 1000 rebates. my dad found one showroom @ jalan ipoh. the SA there takes my wira higher. So, maybe im gonna go there at last. |

civic long way to go, maybe after 4-5 yrs of city can consider.
thats what i heard also, some get free tint. im still going to few showrooms to get better bargain. the most important thing is i'll definitely consider the one who takes my wira higher. u right. if i take the modulo kit it will total up tp 90k. (85k + 5k). quite expensive though. but it look hot! damn, after test drive yesterday, feel wired and uncomfortable driving my wira already. haha.. |

QUOTE(aarex @ Oct 21 2007, 02:20 PM) Ya, very cheap if u mod outside ler...5k for the bodykits?? walao...i think is the name "modulo" make it to 5k nia. Thr r still lots of nicer bodykits v same quality outside. Slow slow mod lo, no need to rush mah. Drive stock car first...hahaha! u can save few k thn... u right, drive stock 1st, slowly mod...Hahaha...ya lo, after i drive my fren idsi city, i also felt tat my waja not nice to drive if compare with his city. haha! Hope u get the best price for ur wira trade in and best rebates and plus free tint la...kakaka, good luck man! but some people thinks waja handling are much better than city/vios. Its like getting waja is more value than extra 30k for city. but i think otherwise. maybe waja good in handling, but i think overall city are much better. city are more fun to drive, better fuel consumption, newer technology, proven vtec, higher 2nd value. like in the city's brochure said " different people interpret driving experience differently..." haha actually in the 1st place i have 3 choice; new vios, 2nd 7th gen civic and this vtec city. i dont like the new vios interior and the centered meter, plus no steermatic thing thanks dude. hope i could get better value for the wira. quite low they take the wira. haihs, rugi a bit. |

QUOTE(babyk @ Oct 21 2007, 04:49 PM) i will tell you, you will regret after you get the City if you see Civic on the road damn... dun la poison me getting the civic pulak... calculate the monthly installment, it's about RM150-200 difference, so you do the calculation and see done the calculations with SA, trade in and how much to top up and stuff (for city & civic). for civic i need extra 10k to get 'not so burden' monthly installment of 10++. whereas if i take the city is only 7++ per month. i can do 1k per month but where can i get 10k for deposit??? haiyaa Added on October 21, 2007, 4:54 pm QUOTE(aarex @ Oct 21 2007, 04:51 PM) Ya, u r rite...its a MOTIVATION for me!!! kakaka.... hahaha same lah..huh?? but whn new city release??? if new city doesnt hv CVT or steermatic...i also not interested lo. haha!! Btw, i might either buy second hand or new 1...c how first!!! i choose city over vios coz of that steermatic thing lah... its rare among in its class, compact sedans.. Wah! apisgogo.. same plan as me loooh! 3-4 years in my current CT and im opting for a civic 2.0s summore a new 9th gen civic might come out by then once you go honda u never look back city thread became civic poison thread... Type-R? wahh... for me 2.0s enuff already. paddle shifter looking good.. if the 9th gen civic out then, its better! went to SA yesterday, lucky me, when i bring my wira there, SA take higher than previous price that he mentioned now loan application is in process. Everything looks good, next month new city! btw, theres a lot of people yesterday at showroom. SA said they already have confirmed order for 5 civics and 10 citys in the weekends. i guess a lot of people shopping new car for xmas and cny. QUOTE(Fasap @ Oct 22 2007, 01:34 PM) Seriously.. I dont know if its just me, but roads nowadays seem to be flooded with CT and Civics.. anywhere you go u can see a CT or a Civic.. Just having the feeling that CTs are going to overtake Vios' sales true.even now CTs are starting to flood our streets, imagine when the new fit/aria model comes out.. but still if the prices arent competitive, its going to be a rough journey for honda.. now, every time on the road see city and civic, can wait to get the car already. I noticed the new fit/aria and gonna be new city, but i cant wait longer, my wira will be depreciate more then.. i have no problem with the new vios, looks sporty and modern, (camry'ish') but when i sat in the cockpit, feels like not toyota (even the new persona's interior is better imho). and dont like the centered meter. but when sat in city, is different QUOTE(babyk @ Oct 22 2007, 01:48 PM) penang aaa? haiyaa... so how? cant work out something? no? |
