QUOTE(babyk @ Oct 24 2007, 04:55 PM) eh, do you know that Penang cars are more valuable than other states? Eh what's the reason behind Penang cars more valuable than other states? Last time my SA told me KL cars more valuable.KL's plate car is the cheapest among all That is why your Wila 1.3 was quoted abit lower than market price Or do you mean cars traded-in in Penang will get better offer? To avoid future headaches, try not to use anti-slip mat or deodorants which stick to your air-cond vents. I've read horror stories about those.

QUOTE(alextee1881 @ Mar 25 2008, 11:57 PM) Just got my vtec 3 weeks ago. I noticed the km/l meter is not accurate compared to my calculation in average of 14km/l (pump full tank for 2 times). Anyone facing the same problem or should I monitor for a while since I planning to go for 1K service this sat. The km/l meter is not accurate. This is normal.Added on March 27, 2008, 9:18 am QUOTE(terence4ever @ Mar 23 2008, 12:53 PM) The oil filter actually is optional for the 5k, my sc told me they only ask whether the customer want or not, IT IS OPTIONAL, NOT COMPULSORY. So, if u want, ofcoz they will charge u lah. To summarize it, all is FOC unless u ask for MORE. Even if you don't ask, they will offer it to you and suggest you take it. For example, air-cond cleaning at 25k km, wheel alignment, etc. If you choose not to do it, warranties on certain parts will be void. Their system will record down things like "customer refused wheel alignment". But I noticed their system are not linked nationwide, so maybe you can go to other SC and claim warranty instead.Added on March 23, 2008, 1:04 pm Jinyee, basically all is FOC for 1st 2 years or 40k mileage which ever come first unless u request for additional/optional service such as change the oil filter for the 5k, which is an optional case... QUOTE(black_rider @ May 29 2008, 02:50 PM) Because it is a new car. The aircond is still new. Maybe you can try put ambi pur or glades to eliminate the smell The kind of perfume which sticks to air-cond vents will stain your dashboard if it leaks out. Many car owners have found this out the hard way. |

Dear all, just to remind you that the battery warranty for Honda City is 2 years / 40,000km compared to all other items at 3 years / 100,000km. Today my battery died at 44,000km, need to replace, RM200+. So if you have just the slightest symptom of battery problem and still got warranty, get it checked and replaced with a new one. I drove my car everyday, and this morning drove from PJ to KLCC and other places, then went down to get something, then came back and the car wouldn't start.
The mechanic who jumpstarted my car says batteries these days die without symptoms and last shorter... gone are the good old days when I didn't care for my Iswara battery for 3 years and it still ran fine... |

QUOTE(faidz85 @ Aug 11 2008, 04:56 PM) The warranty and the free maintenance are 2 different things. Correct. Note that battery warranty is 40,000km or 2 years only, whichever comes first. Also, HU is covered by warranty, speakers are not.Free maintenance is until 40,000 KM or 2 years if I'm not mistaken. For the warranty, its until 100,000 KM or 3 years. If you read the manual book, there's a list for things that are under warranty and things that are not covered by the warranty. So yeah, from 45,000 KM onwards, the maintenance fee is on you. But 1 thing to take note is, the 100,000 KM warranty is only applicable when you service your City at the official SC. |
