i dunno la...
now when i put to D, and press the gas, its sort of lag before moving... and there is a slight jerk to the car before moving....

usually before this, just masuk D and tekan gas, jalan smoothly...
rclxub.gif

SC could not detect any issue with the CVT...
rclxub.gif
yo dude,
new city for example 80k, then plus interest and such might add up to 95 - 100k
so think about it

Jerking during stop go situation, gearbox prob or another likely prob is the engine mounting. one of my engine mount have signs of slight crack liow(the mount below your battery one), theres another mount at the left side of the engine..can ask them to check for you.

Hope this helps.

which is better ? ZENDEN or ULTRA RACING strut bar ? HELLA or BORCH horns ?
*
both bars are fine. if you're refering to the top bar, just get a 2 pt bar. more than enough. im using Zenden 2 pt front bar.

40k service is the major service where they changed quite a number of parts compared to your other regular interval services.

spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, CVTF etc etc

forgotten liow. I claimed my 40k items before my warranty was over.

My car April 2004. Car mileage now is 47K. tongue.gif

The SC mechanic told me a bit about shift lock. We use it if the City gear get jammed (meaning you can't change gear).

To use this releasing feature, use your Honda City key (the one with immobilizer) and insert it to the small slot beside your gear.

Once inserted, the gear will free up - releasing Shift Lock.
*
Its also useful for when you fuse related to the gear shift is blown..you can start the engine but the cant shift gear..so may use the release feature to drive to nearby shop to get your fuse changed. if i'm not wrong the horn fuse somehow shares with the rear brake light. whenever you changed to higher rating horns..then fuse blown so your braking lights not functioning as well..safety feature kua they automatically lock you gears.

your FC will be optimum as the car gain more mileage. generally after 20k service, you'll see a better FC figure.

Added on November 17, 2007, 3:52 pmGuys,

Im organizing a Group Buy for K&N drop in filter for my club members. Anyone interested please PM me for more info. Changing to K&N filter won't void warranty. If you need to claim any warranty issue and afraid they'll void `em..just switch back to the paper filter before go claim.

Regards

slot in a key into the hole(only one hole around the gearstick..top left) n you can shift from P.. this is for cases where you've blown your fuse n the gearshift refuses to disengage from P or when the engine is shut off.

Hi guys.. got some issue wit my city's alarm laaa..

it was working fine yesterday, but this morning, i wanted to lock the car at work, and i pressed the lock button, i was surprised as there as no 'tiiit.. tiiit' sound and my light's weren't flashing.. but the door locked!!, and summore the red alarm status light WAS NOT blinking!!...

anyone knows what might be the problem? tried holding and pressing the button while the key in ignition.. but still the same..  sweat.gif

where to go ah? honda sc? cobra sc? or normal accessory shop? fyi, my warranty's already finished.
plz help.. feeling very unsafe parking me car at work today.. sad.gif

This is related to alarm. Anything related to alarm most prolly they'll refer back to Cobra Msia except for the grey connector between the keys n control unit which they sell them at SC.

Anyone has problems with brake? Whenever I start using car in morning or after car parked for long while, first brake press always gives a weird metallic clanking sound. But after that 1st press, no more sound.

It feels like stiff mechanism ... once warmed up, no more.

That's not normal. Will try to explain to SC..
*
Hey its normal..overnight or whenever parked long time the brake and brakepads cooled off..even after car wash sometimes it happens. no worries
