Anyone got issue install KB5015882 I am getting error 80073701.

I am not sure if it's because I clone my 500gb ssd upgrade to 2tb.

anyway sfc /scannow found errors windows fix. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup later and disable malwarebytes I still can't install this update I am guessing I need to skip it I guess?

Just updated mine and ok. Mine was a fresh Win 11 install.

KB5015882 can be install after I disable all .Net in features & malwarebytes. It took maybe 4~5hrs to install that update. Stuck at 35% and 6x% for sometime.

No issue with KB5015882, I also have Visual Studio 2022 and .NET Core 6.0 installed. Might be due to your Malwarebytes anti-malware software?

However, I am glad now all have happy ending. biggrin.gif

My Windows 11 boots very fast, but after entering desktop, the notification area at the right corner of taskbar always delay in appearing, sometimes I need to wait 3~4 seconds after entering desktop to see the remaining battery level. (The start button is fast loading though, only the notification area)

Is it only me having this lagging issue?

Just disabling malwarebytes still fails I think its dot net 4.8 I disabled both fixed the issue. It was one of recommendation at some site to disable all of them.

Beta Channel - 22621.575 & 22622.575 (10 Aug)

Majority is bug fixed in this build. Example fixed where the left/right arrows finally dark highlight in dark themes instead of previous light highlight. (The up arrow still misalign and not yet fix though.)

hi guys, i want to find out if i do the following scenario:

1. Install windows 11 upgrade
2. Sign up for windows insider to get the beta 22h2
3. Leave the preview channel but continue to run the beta 22h2
4. Later the final 22h2 released to public.

Q = Do i need to reinstall the OS when the final 22h2 is out or windows 11 update will just upgrade my copy to the final release?

Thanks in advance!

Your step is correct and once final is out, it will update it and no reinstall is required.
But make sure you select Beta Channel not Dev Channel as Dev Channel will not able upgrade to final or downgrade to Beta channel. Reinstall is required if from Dev Channel to Beta / Final.

Please take noted If you very important of using Control Panel, this build Control Panel is not working, I install at both of my computer and both same behavior.

Currently the only way to make it run is START + R and type Control Panel and hit enter to launch it.

With Win 11 I noticed I rely more on keyboard instead of mouse to open apps, files or even navigate around Win.

Last time hard push mouse to bottom left of the screen to press Start button, now need more focus if use mouse when use default alignment, it's easier to press Start key.

Last time I right click on the pinned app on Start to open recent file that's edited by that app, now right click on pinned app on Start won't show recent file, I search for the file name instead now.

When looking for specific app on All Apps, the scroll bar is small makes it harder to press on it, easier to type the app name to find it.

Windows Settings keep changing the location for some settings makes it hard to remember, it's again easier to search for it instead.

"now need more focus if use mouse when use default alignment" - I believe this is get use to it issue, now I hate Windows 10 only can put at left side, start menu is so convenient when it is on center.

"right click on the pinned app on Start to open recent file" - agreed Microsoft should bring back this option. This is very useful, and I miss this.

"When looking for specific app on All Apps, the scroll bar is small makes it harder to press on it" - you can scroll in the middle of the start menu, no need press the scroll bar to scroll.

"Windows Settings keep changing the location for some settings" - this I totally agreed! and it is too many step and too many to remember at where, I only remember those common use, not common one just search. 😅

Start button at center looks better, I also didn't change it to left side.

Scroll on the middle of start menu, you mean using mouse scroll? I need to scroll about 10 times from top to bottom.

Search is more convenient to find something in Win 11 now but sometimes when can't remember the word also makes it hard to search.
