File Explorer with Tabs is now rolling out for Beta Channel build but it is same only for selected Insiders, you will get it if you lucky being choose.

any idea how to force open in tabs for file explorer?

i.e. if i have a file explorer window open and open another folder from desktop, it wont merge into one

Win11 will add new feature of file explorer tab on coming version 22H2.

I have the explorer tab. But when u open folder directly from desktop I. E. Not from explorer, it will open a new window instead of a new tab in the existing explorer

is it even worth it to upgrade to windows 11 from windows 10 ?

Speaking from a Windows user's pov, not necessary. What's actually new in Win 11 other than the aesthetics?

But, speaking from a Mac user's pov that I am, just the fact that the Start Menu & Taskbar are now in the middle instead of to the side is reason enough. I love that. It's so much more comfortable for my brain.

If you perform only web browsing, surfing online, Windows 10 or 11 makes no difference. You can even use Chromium OS for the same purpose and find no difference.
I use Windows 11 because it comes with new laptop. Or else I would have still stuck with Windows 10.

if you are into dark notepad and dark task manager, then yeah, they finally made it into w11, otherwise it's just the same, just slower in w11

In Windows 11, to set what "closing lid" and "pressing power button" do, is no longer available in Settings.

I googled it and found must access the settings through old-fashioned Control Panel.

Just installed Win 11 on my TPM 1.2 and unsupported processor (7700HQ) Lenovo Y720 laptop using regedit method.

Seems ok so far. Later test more.

You can also install this "File App" under MS store with multitasking tabs feature.

anyone have issue with outlook at window 11 suddenly not able to read all html format email ? they will auto convert to plain text ?

Anyone got issue install KB5015882 I am getting error 80073701.

I am not sure if it's because I clone my 500gb ssd upgrade to 2tb.

anyway sfc /scannow found errors windows fix. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup later and disable malwarebytes I still can't install this update I am guessing I need to skip it I guess?
