Did u modify registry to get old right click context menu back? I had similar problem after using online guide to modify registry to get old context menu back for sake of convenience . However it seems to destabilize new taskbar so I had to undo the registry and everything back to normal. Guess I had to wait for developer like 7zip and notepad++ to add support to new context menu like winrar and nanazip.

I facing some issue in Firefox and Opera after I upgraded to Windows 11.
Firefox open but cannot do anything whereby Opera cannot open at all.

Anyone experience this?
*
After upgrade my firefox run fine ;can't comment about opera since I do not use it. My advise will be try backup ur browser setting and then reinstall them on win 11.

Another noticeable minor bug for taskbar is when u hover over it will not display battery estimated remaining time but it was found in settings. Furthermore, when u hover over to blank space taskbar it will show some popup like speaker or volume if hover to those icons before.

Btw anyone tried the VBS + HVCI(aka core isolation+memory integrity) features in Win11 for more security?(well it was introduced in win 10 18something but was made a thing for requirement of win 11. I personally found that enabling HVCI will cause my cpu to run at higher clock speed thus draining more battery maybe due to utilizing the MBEC(Mode Based Execution Control) of the CPU. Strange that with HVCI on the memory used by windows is lesser than off. In the end I choose to turn it off the high battery drain was something I cannot comprise since I do like my laptop plugged in always. Maybe ppl with desktop can consider turning that on thou some media reported gaming performance will suffer with it on

I actually uninstall and re-install already.
But, problem persist.

That's why I am curious about this.

Chrome no issue though.

Lol,do anyone still save music on the local machines anymore? I see most people listening to a streaming app.
*
streaming can't get flac quality. so ya audiophile still save, I got around 20GB still growing

Win platform nvr short of good players. I guess Microsoft wants to gather info on what ppl consume in terms of media
videos > MPV ( can acts as music player also but )
audio> foobar2000 (available on microsoft store)

Just wondering how's windows 11 in terms of bugs wise, performance and battery life performance.... how much has changed?

Installed windows 11 on day 1 on my daily driver laptop and I encounted various bugs(such as file explorer delay in opening folders), battery life isn't as great, perfomance isn't as great on battery too (intel core i5 8265U, 20 GB DDR4 Ram, intel UHD graphics 620, Nvidia MX250), currently back on running windows 10
*
well my own experience is everything is snappier with a greater drain on battery.

Will this also need to re-install all software as well?
I don't want the hassle to re-install any software as well  blink.gif

Just use the windows11 upgrade assistant for 22H2 if do not wish to wait, every other programmes will be in tact
disclaimer: this is the known issue of 22H2
