The LG KS20's camera sports 2 megapixel resolution, autofocus, flash and video recording abilities - not bad for a stylish PocketPC. There is also a secondary camera used for video calls. Other multimedia features of the sleek handset are video and mp3 players as well as FM radio and TV out. The 90MB user memory is expandable through the microSD card slot.

Wireless connectivity is also taken care of by including Bluetooth v2.0 and Wi-Fi in the compact device. LG KS20 measures 99.5 x 58 x 12.9 mm and weighs only 99 grams, which is a great achievement for all the functionality included.

LG KS20 is a HSPA-enabled device meaning that it supports both HSDPA and HSUPA for achieving great speeds in downloading as well as uploading.

The TFT touchscreen is as large as 2.8 inches with QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution. The somewhat surprising news here is the presence of the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS in the device

Errmm..correction, HSUPA is not a better version of HSDPA.

To put it simply, HSUPA is for upload and HSDPA is for download.

hmmmm if the reviews are good for this phone ... i would get this rather than the viewty ... but downside is that got no 5mp and 120 fps video ...

It's not like Prada. Prada screen is heat sensing, while this one is an ordinary soft touch screen.
I'll skip this one and go for Viewty, most probable, cause i need good camera and moderate PIM function.

no doubt the price isnt as cheap as i thought it would be. we only pay for the warranty and such. unlike sratos, he can bring in the item into malaysia, but no warranty right? after all, unlike other PDA phone like HTC or DOpod or O2, i am afraid there isnt many firmware update available that easily.

Yesterday tested at Mid valley.
I feel not very solid when I hold it on hand..
When I want to futher testing the camera flash but the phone already in low battery. I will try in other day.
The price at road show is RM1888 not including memory card.

The price is below RM2000, not bad considering all the features it has. Anyone know the quoted battery life for this phone? I might get a second battery so that it can last longer when using HSDPA.

Too bad the sound quality is no good, otherwise I would have bought this phone. According to the review, the 2MP camera is good with autofocus.

the 2mp pictures is gorgeous.. super nice.. the music okla.. nbot tat bad.. but the pics are amazing and shocked me a while lo.. ahaha..

i can say tat the pictures taken by ks20 can have a fight with k800.. ahaha.. seriously.. the red colour and the details.. very nice..

if not mistaken LG would have used SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH lens with it.. not very sure tho..

nah.. it doesnt use SKlens, just the camera software is different than those with HTCs. same like Asus P535 which is an excellent snapper with its autofocus. If LG use SKlens for this KS20, it already stated in their advert.

Saw this phone at MidValley..really nice, especially 12mm design on WM 6P phone

need use the LG audio port lo.. not those 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack.. the internet like normal wm6 phones lo.. nth special.. normal speed..

Yup, the quality aren't bad. In fact, that's more than enough for me - i don't have KS20 yet. I need to test this phone first. I sms a lot, so if using stylus, not practical for me.

I asked same question for LG KU990 in the other thread but some user claimed it will be easier with stylus. I have experience with using stylus before and frankly, I don't quite like the experience. Now have to go test the phone itself before buying. Too bad I'm not staying in KL. Or else will go to MidValley for the roadshow.

Yeah using the stylus will be a put off for many because the default keyboard has small buttons and it is impossible with thumb action. However, you can install 3rd party applications to replace the keyboard. Enter PocketCM. The keyboard application has larger keys and are suitable for thumb action. If you like, you can also install iPhone/IpodTouch replica keyboards.

PocketCM also has other applications like contacts, image viewer, etc that looks just like any iPhone/IpodTouch products. Take a look:

- how do u use HSDPA? I use Maxis prepaid , n i know Maxis has HSDPA, so does it the same with normal 3G? do i need to register a line (postpaid) in order to use HSDPA?

anyway, HSDPA works this way, when you start browsing internet, it will automatically switch to HSDPA. if not, it will just show 3G only.
and yes, you need a line to use HSDPA. Prepaid also can but very expensive and you dont have unlimited package. just FYI, i downloaded 20mb+ by just browsing occasionally, it cost me RM80++ . and i just change to unlimited plan to test for 1 month...
