Under Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Advanced > Select Network, Create 3 new entries:
Globe WAP Configuration:
1. Connection Name: myGlobe WAP
2. Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
3. Access Point Name: www.globe.com.ph
4. No Username, Password and Domain
5. Use server-assigned IP address
6. Use software compression
7. Use IP header compression
8. Proxy Settings: Advanced > WAP Server: 203.177.42.214 / Port: 9201
Globe Internet Configuration:
1. Connection Name: myGlobe Internet
2. Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
3. Access Point Name: internet.globe.com.ph
4. No Username, Password and Domain
5. Use server-assigned IP address
6. Use software compression
7. Use IP header compression
8. No Proxies
Globe MMS Configuration:
1. Connection Name: myGlobe MMS
2. Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
3. Access Point Name: mms.globe.com.ph
4. No Username, Password and Domain
5. Use server-assigned IP address
6. Use software compression
7. Use IP header compression
8. No Proxies
MMS Composer Configuration:
Under MMS Compser > Tools > Options > "Servers" Tab:
Create New Server:
1. Server Name: myGlobe MMS
2. Gateway: 192.40.100.20
3. Server Address:
http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmscUnder MMS Compser > Tools > Options > "Preferences" Tab:
1. Connect Via: myGlobe MMS
2. Connect to Server: myGlobe MMS
3. The other settings you can leave default or change them to what suites you.
Notes:
1. WAP addresses should be preceeded by wsp:// instead of http://
2. You have to switch connections between the "myGlobe WAP" and the "myGlobe Internet" connections depending on the type of access you wish to use. (i.e. wsp://.... uses "myGlobe WAP", and http:// uses "myGlobe Internet")
3. Switching to "myGlobe MMS" is not required to send and retrieve MMS messages.
