just bought this unit at pc fair klcc. so far, happy with it. much better than my xda atom. i use mainly for pim, calls n txting, thus battery life quite ok to me.

i wonder why my ks20 pre loaded with opera (can't uninstall) & something not right with the font in opera.

hi all. i can see many new KS20 user who i believe never use windows mobile before (since this is 1st LG WM device). i suggest new user to understand what wm is for and how to utilize it to the max. google is your friend!

no way iphone 3g will come to m'sia (not even iphone). u need itunes account to activate. malaysia not included.

omnia is expected on sale on july. xperia on sep. ks20 price is dropping. hope lg WILL release wm6.1 update.

i use holux m-1000b. no problem pairing these devices. but sometime ks20 do have problem to turn on bluetooth (it just don't turn on). need to soft reset. i wonder why.

as for gps usage, performance wise is more on gps receiver (+gps software) dependent. but i've encountered problem when my mapking suddenly mute.

when using winmo device, u will defenitely need activesync (or wmdc for vista. same crap anyway). this will sync your pim and other information to your pc.

u may also try pim backup. google is your friend.

anybody experience non-stoping vibrate when receiving sms? it only stop vibrate when open phone setting. hmmm...

pim = outlook

what in the cd:
1. active sync & WMDC (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-synch.mspx)
2. outlook 2007 60days trial (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/default.aspx)

you need outlook if u want to sync your pim (that the reason you get windows mobile, rite?)

play with sktools and suddenly my ks20 HARD RESET by itself. aaarghh.

beware with sktools.

agree. sktool is the best. clean the registry. no problem for me until sktools hard reset (when i check the information section i think. maybe sktool try to pickup info from the hardware and incompatibility cause the hard reset).

and regarding constant vibrating when receiving sms, u can stop it by entering 'phone setting' (tap on the signal icon >> setting). yes, it will stop.

funny, the constant vibrate never happen on my KS20 after (i accidentally) HARD RESET!

hard reset for second time. urghh. reason: install SRS WOW HD and import WaveDev.reg file. Reboot & hang at LG logo.

Frens, never import WaveDev.reg file into ur KS20 device.

how is KS20 on wm6.1? any differences?

hmm i wonder how many of us sync our ks20 with outlook. it might not be a major problem for contact (and other PIM) recovery if u sync with outlook.

PCM keyboard v0.14 with your own costomized layout. only you know how your keyboard layout should be.

i use my own layout only with 3 line (space included). if somebody interested, i would happy to share.

pocket ie can't play youtube vid. try core player or youtube play instead.

i've tried skyfire (beta) and this browser is totally new mobile browsing experience. this browser can display everything just like desktop browser.

technically, no such thing as 3.5G. only non-technical people called it such way.
