yup. since i lost my HD2 earlier on may , i had bought this S740 using it for 1month and found that the Slide-out keyboard really convenient and easier to input compare to my HD2 cap screen but due to some application cab does not work on this smartphone + small screen. i will be getting back my HD2 this sunday, leaving this S740 for new owner.
btw, current price selling RM799.00 im letting go at RM500.00 if you are insterested please pm me for nego. tongue.gif

Hehehe.. u know I wud say something ...

Anyway, it's pretty much personal perference but I can't deny HD2 is impressive.

Talking about iPhone, the new OS4 is not really favorable for iPhone 3G. It lags pretty badly and for the very first time 2 weeks ago, while I was watching YouTube and suddenly a call came in, the Answer screen popped up and I was unable to hit the soft button to answer the call. It reminds me the pain of countless times, this happened to me previously in my KS20.

iPhone4 reception problem is mainly confined to left handed people. Apple giving free casing to solve this problem.

You are very fast in upgrading the OS. I know of a number of 3G owners who are deferring the upgrade due to many bugs in OS4. Can't roll back to old OS?

Yes, it can roll bck to older OS but some manual work is needed.

I installed VGA games in my friends hd2 today n the games can be played, just tht the screen is 1 quarter the size of the entire screen.

yup HD2 is WVGA you will get quarter screen but you may use this WVGA Fix to run VGA game on WVGA device.

and you should try FpseCE instead. best PS2 emulator on HD2.

Tnx for recommending the solution for wvga. Will try tht later.

I installed iPhone OS4.0.1 which was made available lately. It seems tht its better in terms of performance for 3G set which faced laggy problems.

It is very good but you have to get use to the capacitive screen, the same type as iPhone.
This GUY sells very low priced phones.

Added on July 21, 2010, 6:26 pmEmm, i am trying to compare HD2 and the older HD. i handled the older HD before, i felt that it was little squarish and old fashio ... hope this HD2 is little more 'stylish' ... hehe.

U want style? Go for iPhone la.. hehehe.. but the older ones (3G or 3GS) because the new iPhone 4 looks very 'common'. It lost the 'special' look from Apple products. iPhone 4 looks more like Samsung to me now.

i was in the wet market last weekend, and i saw the fishmongers and vege sellers are using iphone, and i saw them 'poke poke poke the screen' .... verey cute, but but, not my cup of tea, although this october i will be getting a new iPhone 4. it is because i am always given new phones to play with, last time it was that beauty iphone 3G and that elephant blackberry. sold them both.

waiting for something newer. lol .
