I'm 100Mbps subscriber. Based on my observation, for youtube 4k, it would use around 100Mbps to run for a 2-3 seconds when the video starts to load. Then it will drops to 40-70Mbps for normal buffering.

There are some unifi agents with telephone number on facebook. Can I just call them and apply for unifi? Is it safe to apply through them, how can I check that they are authorized Unifi agents?

Im not sure exactly, but its their sales/marketing team that randomly calls the customer. Since they mentioned, its a random call offer to existing customer....one time offer.

A week ago, i chatted with them online about upgrading the hypptv box, if its possible for free...hahaha

And then the next week, I received this promotional call. I think it was similar to another forumer earlier, as well?!

Live chat to them, and tell them you wish to upgrade to 300mbps. Ask them if there's any promo going on or request for their marketing team to give you a call for offers.
I did that, two/three days later, I received a call for offers to upgrade 300mbps @ RM159.

i did the live chat, and the agent said no such promo. I also requested them to inform sales/marketing team to contact me, they said they can't escalate this matter.

the agent said the only valid packages are those listed in the website.

all this happened yesterday night.

ANd now you have to cross your finger and wait for couple of day, hopefully they pickup your number and call you. SO far from various posting and others I have talked to, gets the call within a week. hope you get it as well

I had a call with one of TM staffs earlier this morning, asked about the 300mbps @ RM159 plan, and he said it's for existing turbo plan 2018 users only.

You may try again with a different person.
You know, every person does things differently, some are good while others tend to get you off ASAP.

For my case, I just asked him if I could upgrade to 300mbps at lower price. Then, he just told me that he would get their sales department to call me. So, I answered please do so.

That's a retention 300mbps @ RM139 for users of 2018, and that's 300mbps speed only, without Deco M4 mesh. IINM, the price will revert back to normal price after contract.

The current offer is 300mbps @ RM159, with 2 units Deco M4 mesh. The price remains after 24 months.

Furthermore, I won't get benefits for lying, it's pointless.

Seriously? Unifi dint throttle torrent download? i found download really slow after switched to unifi

So far no probs here with torrents.

Is it due to that torrent has low seeder?

Try download hot torrent files.
Torrent with a lot of seeders u should get
max download speed.

anyone facing really bad latency or slow load time when connecting to US servers around daytime to before 12:30am?

becos SMW-5 cable cut certain routing to EU will be route via US back to us.

not only unifi other provider also have same issue as well and there will be congestion when peak hours till the cable are fixed. so far no estimate time when will the cable will be fixed

Are you on 2.4GHz or 5GHz channel? Cos I have problem on 2.4GHz running 30-50Mbps for my 100Mbps.

Just got 30mbps installed yesterday afternoon. They gave me huawei modem and fiberhome router. The router already problematic after installation. Can't login to wifi, timeout error. Called the contractor back, lucky they're still around the area doing 2-3 more installation. The guy blamed me for using the wps button to pair. Since my phone couldn't connect even with correct pw, timeout error left and right, of course I'll test with wps pairing. The guy sqid some bullshit like "lain kali jangan tekan butang tu, seting wifi lari".. wtf man. What is the wps button purpose if I can't use it

Anyone facing Unifi going down around 1am everyday? And it’s not like normal ip change because it needs a manual restart to get everything back to normal
