You should think about Maxis fiber 300mbps @ RM149.
Or, Celcom fiber 300mbps @ RM140, with RM21 rebate on the first 3 months plus getting TP Link AX10 router.

Time charges RM99 for 100mbps which is RM51 difference , the price is 2:1 ratio. However, I believe it would be difficult for ViewQwest if its rival is Time.
IINM, Time uses its own fiber optics cables, right?

I managed to subscribe "try me broadband @ 100mbps" in October 2020. I subscribed via a WhatsApp number found online. So, I think subscribing thru agent might still have chance for 30 days trial or some special plan.

I would turn off only when there’s a fierce thunderstorm. Afraid of striking down the TV more than the router since TV is more expensive .
The connection is still quite stable without turning off.
However, when using the router from TM, the connection could get unstable after some time. Restarting both the ONU and router solved the issue.

A few days back, I live chat unifi asking for 300mbps offers. Today, I receive a call from TM with offering for 300mbps @ RM159 (before SST) with 600minutes free calls + 2 units of TP Link M4 mesh, without Unifi PlayTV.
I thought TM won't give any offer since my contract still has 1-year-and-9-month time.
Does anyone think this offer acceptable/attractive? BTW, downgrade within contract is not allowed.

I’m now on try me 100mbps @ RM129, it doesn’t come with UnifiTV, not even for smartphone one.
My guesses that may be why their offer for 300mbps upgrade @ RM159 doesn’t have Unifi TV too, but I was told Unifi TV is an add-on for RM10/month (Unifi Plus Box is not included ) only for smartphones, not sure for android box.
I did request for 300mbps @ RM139, but rejected due to that is a retention plan only for those subscribers in the year of 2018.

It's stated in Unifi FAQs that upgrade/downgrade is allowed with a renewal of 24-month contract.

I accepted the offers when they called me on Wednesday, sounded attractive.
After some thinking, I just want the speed but not really need it, mesh is not required since not a big house.
Live Chat to them to cancel the upgrade offers, although it's just RM30/month. At this pandemic time, better spend wisely.

Live chat to them, and tell them you wish to upgrade to 300mbps. Ask them if there's any promo going on or request for their marketing team to give you a call for offers.
I did that, two/three days later, I received a call for offers to upgrade 300mbps @ RM159.

You may try again with a different person.
You know, every person does things differently, some are good while others tend to get you off ASAP.

For my case, I just asked him if I could upgrade to 300mbps at lower price. Then, he just told me that he would get their sales department to call me. So, I answered please do so.

That's a retention 300mbps @ RM139 for users of 2018, and that's 300mbps speed only, without Deco M4 mesh. IINM, the price will revert back to normal price after contract.

The current offer is 300mbps @ RM159, with 2 units Deco M4 mesh. The price remains after 24 months.

Furthermore, I won't get benefits for lying, it's pointless.

Yes, different agents says different story, and that happens on every CS like Digi, Maxis, etc.
The same words, try again with another person. For my case, I was told that it's one pair free Deco M4 mesh, and it actually includes Unifi TV basic. Anyway, I turned down the offers already.

300mbps @ RM139 is a retention plan for Unifi users of 2018, it may not be available to new or users b4/after 2018.
Those users may be eligible for the 3 plans you mentioned previously:
300mbps Loyalty Super Value - RM 159 (FREE MESH M4 + STD20)
500mbps Loyalty Super Value - RM 199 (FREE MESH M9 + STD20)
800mbps Loyalty Super Value - RM 239 (FREE MESH M9 + STD20)

I have been on Unifi fiber for 4 months only, which is still under contract, got the upgrade offered via SMS. However, I'm not sure whether new users could get it or not. Furthermore, IINM users can only change plans to a similar subscribed plan after 1 month. By similar means, any add-ons shall be remained for 24 months as well, eg. mesh units or Ultimate Plus Box.
So, I suggest you could try to get the offers after 1 month if they're not available for new user.

Yeah maybe, but I heard that the price for this 300mbps @ RM139 will revert back to 'RM199: Normal Price' after 24 months (contract ended), and you are required to renew the 24-months contract if you wish to pay lower price for a similar plan plus according to the promo plan at that time, I'm not sure it's true or not.
I'm getting the 300mbps @ RM159 + TP Link Deco M4 2-packs, TBH I was hoping for the RM139 plan as well since my home is not big, even 1 unit of Deco M4 is enough for my home wifi coverage, and it's far better than the Aztec router provided by TM.
Yes the contract will be renewed to 24 months, now my contract ends on 02 Mar 2023.
FYI, my previous contract ends on 22 Oct 2022, and I was on 'try me broadband 100mbps @ RM129'.

The price will remain same for the 3 plans mentioned after 2 years contract ended, and the below is what written on my account details, there's the "perpetual" on it..

TBH, getting over 90% of your subscribed plan still wanna complain? Then, you shouldn't waste time complain to TM anymore, and go directly for MCMC by showing your friends are getting 105mbps.

If you’re interested on upgrading, I may suggest you try to request for the offers ‘300mbps @ RM159’ or higher plans which you can get FREE TP Link Deco set. You can use the bundled TP Link Deco as router + extend wifi coverage (2nd unit).
However, changing of plan is allowed after 1 month usage. And, do note there’s no guarantees on getting the offers btw.

IDK about TP Link AX20, but I guess it shouldn't be any issue using it cause I myself is using TP Link AX50, and I'm using it 24/7 with good wifi coverage + no issue at all. So, I think TP Link router should be fine.

Call 100 and select 4 for sale department or live chat to request for upgrade 300mbps at lower price. If you get a good CS, he/she would arrange their marketing team to call you.
