I don't think they read what's posted on the MCMC complaint other than "takde port". Or rather that was the impression I got from the lack of response from my initial complaint and follow-ups.

And don't expect them to call you back. Keep checking with TM, or even better, ask the contractors when they're inspecting the distribution point as they can visually confirm if they've added new ports.

Just be careful what you wish for. I got fibre AND a horrendous 1000ms ping. (n.b.: You're not bound to apply for Unifi when they finally add more ports, so you might want to consider weighing your options with the other ISPs.)

Last time is for Google server, if you directly connect to MY Google server, they will sharp throttling you to 480kbps, you need to be lucky that the DNS throw you to TM peer server, and YouTube throw you to TM peer server.

Then IPv6 showing up, and wow, first time browsing without QoS implemented, so fast so smooth, then a few month later, they implemented QoS and gg.
And yes, that time TM setup to start the throttle on 11AM, and release you at 11PM.

Only left for UniFi is, normal experience, WiFi interference for me, and China website always throttling via SG CDN server or HK CDN server, and someone like to having P2P enabled to throttling the WiFi speed....

For Tencent, yes, but I guess because of Law issues, or they saw crappy connection at MY, so they just throw/choose SG server for oversea users la, previous just HK server which, well, UDP and TCP kicking you like a ball , but TCP just gentle, just make sure you don't logout at night, or heavy QoS gonna coming for you.

anyone done speedtest lately? I'm using unifi 100Mbps package in KL city area and the speed has been around 20-30Mbps dl/ul lately - tested using speedtest.net and dslreports.com

Because reroute to SG Cloudflare DC.
And Unifi is currently having congestion issue to Singapore EVERY NIGHT.
So the connection also high latency.

Maxis seems alright but I have not done intensive tests, also I'm using Maxis Fibre on Maxis Infra which is rarer compared to Maxis Fibre on TM Infra. Not sure on if there's a performance difference between those.

In my area nearly all ISP are riding on TM's infra, Allo is sort of here but their work stopped after poles are being planted (TM recruited all the contractors)
If everything using TM's infra is suffering, my only option is to wait for Allo... or buy more lottery and pray for something big that allows me to live in a condo with TIME fiber lol

Have to check with those using other ISP under TM infra. As I know the infra only for last mile connection, after that all root to own ISP server. I could be wrong.

Only the ISP that using TM as main outbound network then will suffer from the problem, for maxis they mainly use their own network so more stable but on mco still got abit network issue,overall is better than TM 90%.
Using TM infra to provide service does not mean the outbound network is the same network,like maxis only use TM infra for last miles connection but the connection after local tm network exchange then going to maxis network and go out to the online service server.
