Is it possible to get 300mbps package without the tv box? I feel laying $199 for a plan that I'm not going to use is a waste.

Anyone else keep having error when accessing GMail / Google Drive FileStream / Google Meet?
Spoke with my G-Suite supplier, it seems the issue is isolated to only UniFi customers
Time customers are not having this issue
*
Yes, trying to upload stuff to Google Drive
the speed is very unstable
dropped from 50mbps to under 1mbps

The picture is correct ? the FTB to a BTU 15 meter ?
Does Unifi still provide FTB for houses ? I remember even FWS also cut cost.
The picture you upload looks old 2013.

I found this latest as official
https://community.unifi.com.my/t5/Installat...uide/ta-p/12649
50 meter inside premise.
Number 35 faq question on October 2020 https://unifi.com.my/sites/default/files/pa...ber%20-2020.pdf
At T&C April 2020
https://unifi.com.my/sites/default/files/pa...al_1Apr2020.pdf
refer to https://unifi.com.my/installation/allaboard.pdf

Which one is correct ? What I mean at premise where the cable is

No more FTB and FWS

Any tool/ways to extract PPPoE password from Netis DL4480V1?
My friend requested the password from TM, they sent him the password 3 days ago....so far his Netis router still able to access the internet without the need of entering the new password. Meanwhile, he cant setup his deco m9 with the provided password

Hi guys, I have been using unifi 800mbps for quite some time and realised that the speed can be very bad quite often recently. As I've read through this thread I realised that changing the router would help as I'm still using the stock router provided by TM.

Was looking at D-LINK DIR-895L AC5300 Ultra, will that be good enough? Or is there a better alternative? Looking for a budget below rm1000.

Thanks guys.

Get something with wifi 6 instead since your plan is already that fast
I suggest giving blacktubi a poke here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4658096

Finally TM has come and install fiber (Unifi) at my house by today.... All the way they drag more than 2 month.

Some question to ask,
1. currently i am use the default router provide by TM, can i set dns ?
because i found that after set still got website canot go.

2. i can use unifi tv app to view free channel?

hmm.gif
new for unifi.... need some advise  brows.gif
*
1. had to login as admin instead of user (not sure about the new white router with 4 antennas, but works on Netis and Az-Tech)
Try login with these
username: tmadmin
pwd:Adm@(last 4 digits of the mac address)

2. If you registered 100mbps plan, no more free unifi tv. >100mbps it's a yes.

Received this sms from TM, RM20 per month for hypptv seems reasonable? 100mbps RM129+RM20 hypptv+6%=RM157.94?

Hope it comes with the ultimate pack tho....

because your current internet plan is 100mbps + including free packs (Aneka / Varnam / Ruby)

you can choose to add-on RM20 for UPB, then you can watch tv channel according to the tv pack plan you choose.
For example my internet plan is 100Mbps + including free Aneka Pek. So I can watch my tv plan at UPB by using the current UnifiPlayTV id without upgrading the plan to the ultimate pack

How to check if my area is under coverage?

Googled, check unifi website etc. Don't even have a simple link to check for coverage. Google links to some random unifi resellers site, which request for my details before allowing me to check. No way I'm going to give my details to some dodgy looking site.

Cmon tmnet, 2021 already still behaving like some useless chekai company.

Unifi online chat, or ask them on twitter

YouTube 4K can play no problem.

Anybody else noticing this ?

I upgrade from 30mbps to 300mbps at Damansara Uptown TMpoint.

You can walk in to TMpoint and tell them that you would like to upgrade to 300 mbps. See they give you any offer.

You upgrade within contract or...?

Just got 30mbps installed yesterday afternoon. They gave me huawei modem and fiberhome router. The router already problematic after installation. Can't login to wifi, timeout error. Called the contractor back, lucky they're still around the area doing 2-3 more installation. The guy blamed me for using the wps button to pair. Since my phone couldn't connect even with correct pw, timeout error left and right, of course I'll test with wps pairing. The guy sqid some bullshit like "lain kali jangan tekan butang tu, seting wifi lari".. wtf man. What is the wps button purpose if I can't use it doh.gif
*
Should've get the PPPOE details from the contractor, can swap the fiberhome router to something better lol
Never use ISP's stock router, unless you're using TIME or Allo's doh.gif

Yes they can only give you the password by resetting the password and send the new password by sms within 24 hours.(Normally within 30min can receive the new password)
*
Not really, you can grab all the details from the abang during installation
Done that when installing mine, told many other friends when they're doing installations.

also notice TIME got new device where the modem n router is in 1 device, did unifi offer such device (this is good if unifi don provide wifi 6 router and i can buy my own router so no need to keep so many device running).
*
100% no, TM's provided routers are the worst among all ISP

Hey guys, wanna ask ya...
If terminate unifi within contract, I'll have to pay the rest of the month conbined right?
But if somehow I can tranfser ownership to someone else, just pay for the transfer fees?
Cause TNB is planting poles behind my house now, City broadband avaliable for installation within 9 months. But my unifi still got at least 20 months more to go...
