depends on the housing. TM was originally offered via copper in my building, and when the management decided to upgrade to fibre, they opted for TIME but kept TM for people who already have it (like me). So yeah, you can have both in the same premise, in some weird cases like me

This happens no matter the dns or ipv6 enabled in my place. Even worse at night when some don’t ever load.

I saw your pings to a YouTube profile picture server seem very low with no spikes, so what could be the possible reason for this issue I am facing ?

Speedtests and everything seem fine, YouTube 4K can play also, but it’s weird to see the video play and the profile pictures surrounding the video fail to load properly

Anybody else experiencing this issue too? Sometimes need to scroll down the comments a bit fast to find ones that won’t load 😂😂

Did u change the dns server on your router dhcp setting or your phone dns setting or pc setting?
If not,please change to google dns server.
And open command prompt and type "ipconfig /flushdns" and "ipconfig /renew"
and ping/traceroute this ip to see what server ip u are connecting and latency.
IP : yt3.ggpht.com and yt4.ggpht.com



I suspect is dns problem.

Did you changed to Google DNS yet?
Equinix SG issue should not affect Youtube as Youtube/Google has server in Malaysia.

Also did you enabled your IPv6?
Sites such as Youtube, Facebook work better over IPv6 connections.

Hello! Yes I did change dns in dchp server of my router to google dns. Problem was much worse with cloud flare

Here is my ping to the ip you sent, seems normal but weird the profile pictures have issues. Will check later during peak period too

Also, I noticed the pinging my modem, or the second line on the ping plotter has spikes sometimes (the 175.xx) could this be an issue with me connecting through a network switch ? Or I this already out of my network?

As long as there are not packet loss, then u are not having any problem within your home network.
The first node is your router,the second node is the tm network.
So normally if first and second node is good ping,then didn't need to worry about your network.
But of course wifi might have some interference issue,but no packet loss mean all good. (latency spike on wifi is normal)

I having a very strange problem...
I dont know why my pc cant get ipv6 ip from unifi...
But my phone and my raspberry pi can get...
I had already reset my pc network setting,restart pc bla bla bla ...still cant get ipv6 from unifi...so strange...

I know..I already reset network setting,disable adapter ,enable adapter ,restart router ,reboot pc.Now going to try changing regedit setting.
I think is Crap windows problem...

Even i update the system also cant...And the way to fix it is find the fix that provided by Microsoft and the fuck they had deleted the file on their website and server...

Public ipv6 by tm,but given by router.
Because Router only get a prefix ipv6 from unifi,and the prefix can assign almost unlimited ipv6 address to network device.

IPv6 for unifi user only benefit for accessing popular site only.Otherwise most unpopular website might be slower loading time.

IPv6 will not cause slower loading time for unpopular website.
Our browser will automatically use IPv4 (happy eyeballs fallback) if the destination website didn't support IPv6.
