How to check the wireless card is compatible with my laptop?

I have just installed 2 DECO M4. What I observed is that the signal is strong now (5 bars), but the speed does not change. It's still around 240-250mbps for a 300mbps line. With LAN cable, I can get 300mbps.

My old 2.4ghz & 5ghz access points are still around.

Is this normal?

Just wondering where is the place to change your PPPOE passwords and so on. It used to be there is a MyTM portal back then where you change change all these things but now the new Unifi Portal is basically just a billing and payment platform it seems. Where has the technical configuration page gone to?

Just something I like to DiY back in the days. Like setting a stronger password. But I noticed for Streamyx there are several protocols, PAP and another one. One of it is secure the other is less secure. But for some reason even today their Streamyx can't even put on the secure protocol.

Ya, the agent got tell that they will give 2 mesh wifi for free. Don't mind to pay a little fees as long the installation is good and no trouble afterwards.
