Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to ask for help. But I desperately need Unifi/Maxis fibre for my house and both told me no port. Read many posts online, a lot people waited for 6 months and some even took years.

I am willing to pay for the extra port installation, if anyone has lobang.

most outrageous is routing to Europe all must via to HK then back to SG then to Europe and the ping increase 40ms-50ms average then before.

i plan to replace tm stock router,
planning get tplink ax10,
what detail i need copy over?

Agree, 100 Mbps more than enough for most people. Only sometimes exceed 100 Mbps eg Microsoft/Steam update or large download from office VPN.

got many setting...

I thought just select profile when configured then should be ok. Just make sure to buy the unifi/maxis/time certified router. Otherwise, need to self configure vlan

U only need the pppoe password which can be found on some stock router interface.
if it is not available, need to request TM to reset and provide a new one.
Other details are not needed if u buy a unifi-friendly router.

The current latest router model for the installation on this month is D-Link DIR825m. Back in December 2020 they did provide TP Link AC1200 4 antenna model. Other than these two, the crappy router was Fiberhome sr-120a, AZ-Tech, Netis, Dlink dir842 and TP link AC1200 VR400

I'm using D-Link DIR-842 (AC1200) for my 100Mbps unifi package but having issues such as slow WiFi speed when using 2.4ghz connection (20-30Mbps on speedtest). When I'm connected to the 5ghz connection, the speed is fast (100+Mbps on tm speedtest), but the line not stable, suddenly no connection. Is it because of the router issue?
