most popular site or services got cdn server in asia so no issue for those service, including google drive.
If google drive also slow, maybe u need to check your network.

But for foreign sites or service totally crap routing for past few days...
TM really fuck up on their network...
*
Just try download stuff from Google Drive, speed back to normal
And yes, this few days network totally crap ranting.gif

Also received the unifi promo email in this afternoon, but I think I gonna change to TNB ALLO after my contract end this year. As it is cheaper and faster compare to unifi at the same price range. wink.gif

Maybe you just can relocate the unifi to an adress which doesnt have any unifi/streamyx,then you can terminate without penalty? At least mine on last year when i relocated to an adress which doesnt have any coverage, TMPoint immediately inform me to terminate my unifi without any penalty. You just need to settle 1 month bill iirc

no smooth upgrade for me. Did all the possible actions, just can't get the speed.

Called TM, and they send technician to check and verify. sad.gif

there are many factors that cause internet speed disruption

1. Make sure the modem to the router uses the original Cat5e cable and above (recommend Cat6 and above). Because there are issues with Cat5e and Cat6 cables that have been plagiarized by using Cat5 cables.

2. Make sure the internet port on the modem/router supports Gigabit

3. If you want to use WIFI, make sure to use a 5Ghz connection

4. If you want to use LAN, make sure the cable from the router to your pc uses Cat5e and above, and make sure your pc supports GbE (Gigabit Ethernet), and also the driver used is up-to-date

5. For PC settings, make sure 1.0Gbps full duplex is enabled

From my experience, i just gave them the new to be relocated address only. At worst they will ask you for the TNB bills/water bills for the address iirc

Thanks, will give it a try later this year, I'm shocked by Allo's progress in Johor
Impian Emas, Senai, Saleng, Kulai all laying fiber
ETA October this year, no reason to stick with Unifi anymore.

Understood. I Will give it a call for a better offer even I'm within the contract.

I received a different reply today when I called again to confirm. This gal told me my package which is 300Mbps bundled with UPB is non-qualified for this promotion. And she said I need to choose those packages with UPB regardless of upgrade or downgrade. It's totally different when I called the last few days, as that guy told me I can still entitle the latest promotion, which just adds RM60 for the ultimate pack for UPB. In fact, I just want to confirm that RM60 only needs to pay within 24 months as I still on contract.

Who has the same situation as me?

Yup, the reply they gives is not consistent. One guy told me the promo is include std 20, another gal said it is not included. laugh.gif
