Like mine, 100mbps is more than enough. I downgrade from 800mbps to 100mbps. Paying too much for nothing.

And I set in my Mikrotik router to make sure nobody can consume more than 2/3 of available bandwidth. No bandwidth hoggers   

Just do some network utilisation observation.. hourly, weekly, etc to get the usage trends.

I just checked my bills...From Nov 2020 onwards(7months after my previous 2 year contract ended), there is no more RM70 discount on broadband.
So, the price changed from RM139 to RM209 in Nov 2020.

So the new fiber port just installed right in front of my house is fully reserved apparently.
There’s only like 11 house in my area, i highly doubt all of them are subscribing to unifi

Agent mentioned only for streamyx users for now, which i cancelled 2 years ago because it was getting slower/no connection because cable stolen.

if a new DP is installed on the pole but it is said that the port is full or not yet in the system, that means yes it is not yet in the system. need to go through several phases including try n error on the fiber.

please do not request registration many times, including registration through multiple agents. Because of this, your unifi registration process will be a little complicated. I say that because TM staff including TM agents do not like this kind of thing. Because this will disrupt the process to open a port to your residence.

GPON Class B+ (ITU-T G.984) max allowed attenuation is 28dB(reading must be 26dB with 2dB allowance).

A 1:4 splitter installed in the FDC cabinet already takes up ~7.5dB. The 2nd 1:8 splitter inside the FDP will take up another ~11dB. You add another 1:2 splitter that'll add another ~3.5-4dB.

Easily you add up all 3 already close to ~23dB. That means you've just another 3dB allowance.
Cable length between OLT? Degradation over time?  Quick Connectors/ Couplers and resplices?

All will add further attenuation to the line.

Once you hit 25/26dB level, your customers will start crying everyday and shouting.

That is why TM HSBB network is NOT ready to offer gigabit speeds and symmetrical plans. It's in a HUGE mess due to bad planning design and cost cutting.

Guys, Unifi is blocking a lot of websites now. Actually all the Malaysian telcos are doing this now (more or less) and it started back maybe less than 2 months ago.

Even a health products website like iHerb.com is blocked by Unifi (their Malaysia version). iHerb has the cheapest vitamins and minerals and herbs you can get anywhere (in the world).

Confirmed already by iHerb thru email.

Do tm still give any unifi rewards / point to customer for bill payment?

As I already few months not getting it, although the bill is always being paid on time and on before due date. Btw, I usually use fpx or shopee pay, not sure whether it is limited to selected payment method only.

I think you have some VPN on which you forgot about. Others also tell me they cannot access my.iherb.com.

So I bought this router during the 22nd March sale. Got delivered within the next day by DHL. The router is good for the price range which I bought for RM139.77 with 300coins cashback(RM136.77 after taking into account the 300 coins cashback). Been using it for 9 days now and I never encountered any issues. Previously, I was using the unifi stock TP-link Archer AC1200 which does auto-reboot randomly itself. Is good that finally I ditch the stock TM router. To those who are using the stock unifi router, get yourself a own router. You can get the router at cheap prices during the upcoming 4.4 sales, 7.7, 8.8, 9.9, 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12 sales. The prices during this period are much much cheaper than during usual days. Just monitor the prices on shopee and Lazada. Follow Ookas, Ookas plus, Mono Digital other than the manufacture stores to get good deals. The price for this newly launched AC router has dropped in prices quiet a lot. Who knew that for a higher series router AC2100 can get for below RM140! BTW I just get this router for 1+ year usage till the wifi6e router comes out. Will be changing the devices as well so yeah.

if the wifi performance is good, but the internet is still lagging, it means that the internet problem is caused by the amount of device that is being connected. because every connected device needs good internet performance

The WiFi performance is solid. Till now I have never experience any WiFi drop connection. Regarding the WhatsApp call issue may I know what phone your parents is using? Because my mom's phone which is Oppo A53 does have this issue. But not all the contacts she make have till issue. Only 2 contacts does she experience with this issue. One house is using Copper with Netis orange VDSL and another fibre with the stock TP link Archer AC1200 router. I am figuring out is this WhatsApp app issue or the phone issue. My phone which is Honor does not have this issue. Hope you could reply back to me regarding this.
