i'm on 300Mbps and my max download speed is 1MB/s MAX from direct downloads/etc. DIGI fibre is very bad. Anyone having the same problem? Service is so bad i'm considering to end contract immediately and just pay the RM500 fine. Also if there's a way to lodge a complain to MCMC?

I switched from Maxis. The installer came with only changing the wifi router only. TM modem is being reused. This is confirm throttling from DIGI side.

Digi's routing is more or less similar to Unifi. Go read Unifi thread now, many also having connection problem.

Thank you for replying. I signed up for the DF150 (300mbps) package. AFAIK tenda mw3 only suitable for up to 100mbps, if i need mesh extender, i'll need to buy mw6. my budget is around 500-600rm. Around 700rm also okay. As long as it works well. Thnx

If that's the case, you can probably consider TP-link Archer AX55/Ax72/AX73 + 1xTP-link RE605/RE505X OneMesh repeater or 2 x Asus RT-AX55. I cannot comment on other brands though since i found other brands not stable enough or not feature rich.

Just sharing my case...
Night before CNY before balik kampung... Accidentally 'sot' my ZTE ZXHNH198A router and gone case, lights randomly blink, LAN could not connect, confirm spoiled.
Bought a cheap Mercusys AC12 @ RM56 for temporarily use as not free to standby at home to wait for Digi.

2 weeks passed, finally got time, contacted Digi CS on Monday late afternoon, half an hour later Digi Fibre Team whatsapp me and ask for photos/videos. Showed them at night, ping them next day but then they disappear as expected. Wed suddenly got reply, arranged for technician. Came on Thurs, technician lazy to check also, terus change a new Zyxel EX3300-T0 for me without asking much.

Overall TAT, 3 days+, faster than i expected as previously the installer hints me at least more than a week to solve everything.
Mine is just a small condo, at least with the new Digi's Wifi 6 router, i get full signal in my room, compared to Wifi 5 - ZTE or Mercusys which only get 3/4 bar signal.

Thanks, i'll check them these routers out. Appreciate the help. I got cats and last time i was using tp-link extender, my very itchy hands cat broke the antenna rendering it useless. midway point of my house where the extender needs to be, the power points are all near the floor. Changing to tenda was a good choice cause it is square cubes, they can't do anything to it.

Try changing the LAN cable that connects to the modem/router.

I'm using Cat 5e cable.
Is there a difference if I switch to Cat 6?

Are you using a new BTU/modem when u install digi fiber or same BTU from old service provider?  I have experienced the same issue previously when upgrading my service to above 100Mbps on Unifi.  Apparently, the original BTU/modem supplied only FE ports instead of GE.
*
No, DiGi only supply router.
I'm still using the original modem supplied by TM previously when I was in Unifi.

DiGi technician came and checked.
WiFi 5Ghz can achieve up to 300mbps.
But my PC connected to LAN can only achieve up to 100mbps.
My PC is using Cat 5e cable anyway.

Sometimes cable quality can be the cause.
minimum CAT5E, recommended CAT6 and above

Anyone recently singed up for Digi 50mbps?
What router they're giving now?
Unifi now just give cheap brand router and modem to save cost.

Finally got an appointment to install Digi 50mbps at my house on Monday. That's the fastest that they can do which is surprising because with tm it's usually within 1 to 2 days only. Really hope no bad experience with digi fiber since they use tm infra at my area. Later I complain then they just simply pass to tm.

Because they need arrange both Digi & TM guys to go over, so double the waiting days lo.... Unifi only need TM one guy, sure easier to arrange
Should u got issue later, how also is contact Digi CS, then only they again arrange Digi + TM guyS (depends on ur issue), so prepare wait longer time as well.
My earlier few post, router sot, manage to arrange Digi guy come next day.
