maybe just typo...50mbps if properly QoS-ed can replace 100mps line without much degradation...that is why tm avoid offering such package otherwise their revenue will affected

Still considered expensive due to TM Wholesale unflexible port pricing for other competing ISPs. TNB Allo's allows ISPs to market symmetrical 100Mbps at RM89/mth with its Allo City Broadband offerings. Other ISPs such as Maxis and DiGi cannot afford to do this because they have to take TM Wholesale and Time Fibre's wholesale pricing to cover all of them. Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

50mbps at rm90 per month is very worth for entry level user.
Any review on Digi broadband? |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Oct 3 2020, 09:05 AM) No phone calls according to https://www.digi.com.my/support/help-center...product-generalDamn man, if my parents' home isn't under contract until January 2022, I would have already switched their fiber Internet plan. If Digi Fiber's international routing is the same as their postpaid mobile Internet plans, the Internet will be at least better than Maxis and TM. And that 1Gb package, where is pakji now? |

For comparison, this is what TNB Allo pricing model which other ISPs should be using as gauge.

AS4818 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Of ALL the Big 5 telcos in Malaysia: TM, Maxis, Celcom, Umobile and TIME Only 2 of them are independent from TM. TIME has its sister company Global Transit for its international transit needs while Maxis sources NTT Asia to handle its bulk of international traffic. Even Umobile also is using TM Net for its bulk of international traffic handling which accounts for 32% of its needs that's like 1/3 of its capacity. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Wow, someone who actually think bgp.he.net actually reflects the quality of a transit blend. But lets' got with it. Looking at Maxis's peer list at https://bgp.he.net/AS9534#_peers it seems that it connects to only one of Asia Big 3. Any reasons why I should be convinced with what you say over my experience with Maxis? And about Time dotCom, go to https://bgp.he.net/AS9930#_asinfo and see the 44% Hurricane Electric blend and then weep. Then look at Time dotCom less than 10% blend from Asia Big 3 and weep again. About TM, it may have all Asia Big 3 in the blend, but they still sucks, just go ask many users of TM's consumer-level Internet services. Hurricane Electric 40% cannot be offset by the 20% Asia Big 3. edmund_yung and pizzaboyj liked this post

QUOTE(Cendol_Pulut90 @ Oct 3 2020, 12:27 PM) I am living at an old flat. I tried to ask maxis or unifi to change my plan to 100mbps. But they told me they couldnt sell to me due to my area not supported. max speed my area can support only 50mbps.Finally I saw digi offering 50mbps at lower price. |

This looks interesting but I'm guessing not many are taking up since:
1. No fixed line 2. Not enough reviews yet. 3. Also wonder what's their P2P policy? Any Fair Usage Policy that's unknown. |

let me give you some insights about their service
Their dynamic ip is not dynamic, technically p2p won't work, because it is more of an internal assigned ip to a routing access which then you might share a single ip with multiple different home units. port forwarding doesn't work well During first lauching if your aeea is new they do use dynamic ip range meaning you can really look up to your router and also google they match, not so after your new area has more home connecting to it.
