yes, it is different. Otherwise make it 1 profile for Digi will do.
It same to Maxis as well.

Example Maxis Allo and Digi Allo both are different VLAN ID.

the intra in Malaysia is design in this way, no choice, we can't do nothing, but at least this firmware make our life easier.
But still I'm wondering, because not all users know what intra Digi using?
*
yes... not that too long also digi introduce its fiber... and they expanding fast... so curious too what infra they using.. but expecting it will have different experience on those infra...

QUOTE(GameSky @ Mar 4 2022, 10:50 AM)
digi cs known for being the worst.
*
not sure if this statement still valid or not.. but so far, digi are kinda responsive than maxis and celcom that i engage especially on business side... maxis dont even want response and very late.. faster closing ticket when its not solve.

If that's the case, I think it will take like 1 month cooling period before you can reapply. Your previous application still in the system therefore cannot register new application. Just like if you terminate Maxis or Unifi there is a month cooling period before you can apply back.
*
Thanks my man. But even if I apply for digi, cancel before installation then reaaply also got cooling period? Since its from the same service provider.

Coz anyhow Digi also "locked" ur port with TM, so its more to TM system locked ur unit's port, not ISP/Digi issue.... So even u cancel, TM side also need cooling period to reopen it.

But couldn't digi do something to get TM to reopen the same port since its the same applicant (me) applying for the same house?

And the fibre team had never inform me regarding to that.

Finally installed Digi fiber at my house. TM guys setup the fibre wire from pole outside and provide modem. Digi guy provides router.

Tested the speed so far okay. But to get 50 up and down requires lan cable. Over WiFi max upload is 20 which is weirdd

No chance to get out of TM after more than a decade using them.

My Unifi baru in the process of porting out to Digi because i wanted to take up the 50mbps package @RM90.

Once TM knew i was going for the second time, immediately they called me up from KL and proposed upgraded package (current 30mbps upgraded to 100mbps @RM99) i cannot resist. End up, TAK JADI LAGI move out from TM.

My mobile phones all using TM also (Unifi Mobile) as their package @RM59 is the best amongst all other networks. Lagi2 stuck to them. Haiya.

I have used both Digi's router, the old ZTE H198A and ZYXEL EX3300-T0 (coz ZTE rosak Digi warranty give new ZYXEL), tested Wifi using both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, both router and both channels also can achieve max speed, i.e. ±50Mbps download and ±20Mbps upload.
Not to defend Digi, but i guess its more to his wifi devices or electrical stuffs or his unit's wall layout that affect the Wifi Speed.

Btw, 50Mbps package, upload is max 20Mbps, that's is already max, someone ady shared the package screenshot above

Today I went to TMpoint to check if there is any special upgrade for the 30mbps plan at my parents place but was told that I could only go for Rm129 for 100mbps. I went across the street to Digi and registered the interest for digi fibre. Hopefully TM could also counter offer in my case…

Can elaborate your process of getting TM to counter offer you?

I am currecntly using 100mbps unifi and want to move to Digi 300mpbs. If TM willing to counter, I don't mind staying as Unifi has been very stable for me over the years.

At the same time, those who are already using Digi, how stable are they? Is there lots of downtime? Is bittorrent blocked? Cause I torrent a lot.

Edit: seems like people are not getting go feedback from Digi Fibre. I am now not sure if want to switch over. LOL...

Unifi mobile has been very bad for me ever since they announce no more 3G.
It used to be good enough for me as there's coverage for my home and office.
But early this year, its been so bad that even in KLCC I can't get any signal.
Went to digi express today and mnp back to them after 2 years of trying out unifi mobile.

If public IP is important to you, you might want to stay with UniFi
Digi does not offer Public IP at all

I can still torrent with Digi, and so far it is as stable as Unifi except without public IP. Ping wise it is higher if you compare side by side ping to the same server, as I have posted in few page back.

Limitation could be in terms of not able to access home CCTV from outside as well as for playing certain games.
