May I ask, any Digi Fibre user in Kuching ? How's the connection ? Stability ?
I'm currently on Unifi, thinking of switching to Digi as they offer rebate if subscribe for both Postpaid and Broadband
Thx

I am using Digi Fibre in Kuching. So far connection is ok, but if possible use your own router and keep the Digi router as spare. I have also done some speedtest previously, which you can find here

Also Digi is on private IP, which means you cannot do portforward and stuff like that.

It's by far the cheapest 300M plan in the market now for only RM100/mth. You don't need to get invited or selected.

Just pair it with a DiGi Postpaid 90 and above plan you only need to pay RM100 for 300M no other plan comes close to this deal. Also DiGi Fibre is now available on TM, TIME and Allo wholesale networks.

If you're just a light user, pairing 50M Fibre plan with DiGi Postpaid 60 total you only pay RM135 for both fixed fibre and postpaid mobile in one single bill.
Not even Celcom MAX(Celcom Fibre 30 + Celcom Postpaid 80) at least RM160 is as cheap as DiGi.
Maxis Postpaid 98 + cheapest Fibre 30 also need a commitment of RM187 per month minus tax.

For most people public IP is not really important, save the money and get yourself a good reliable VPN subscription instead. It's safer and much more reliable.

I live in a condo so it doesn't really bother me about CCTVs as facility is already quite secured all over the floor leading to my unit managed by guards.

Should you still insist on CCTVs then maybe consider cloud based servers, a VPS or a fixed IP VPN.
Services such as Tailscale, Zerotier or HIKVision Procontrol CCTV? Setup a cheap VPS with a cloud provider then configure it in your router?

We have to eventually live it it or move to something else such as IPv6. Fibre connections with CGNAT is still far better than mobile networks used for broadband such as Digi Infinite 150, Maxis Home 4G Wifi or Celcom Home Wireless.

RM100 for 300Mbps is the cheapest fibre plan in Malaysia.

is DiGi fibre as stable as Unifi?

if any issues, how long will they take to resolve? do they depend on unifi to fix the issues?

Yes, stable as Unifi. If your area uses Unifi infra, any issue will depend on Tm. If your area uses Allo or Time infra, any issue will depend on the respective infra owner. Usually hardly have issue, even for unifi itself.

In the end i use back the old black maxis modem, reconfigure with the Digi SSID login as taught in this thread, then my TV auto detect back the same login and password.

Looks like Digi has extra promo now, additional RM20/month rebate for 12 months if you sign up 300mbps and above.

That would make it RM80 per month if you are Digi Postpaid 90 and above user. Tempting

RM80?

Yesterday I went to Digi and the cheapest is RM100 if using Postpaid 90. If pair with Postpaid 60, then RM115.

right now i am on 60+75 for the 50mbps
total monthly is 135

so is that means i upgrade to 90+150 for 300mbps, but my monthly commitment is only 90+150-20-30-20 = 170 for first 12 months and next 12 months is RM190?

Yes. But anyone ever upgrade their Digi fibre plan? Wonderring if they need to send technician or can they do it remotely like TM. Because lazy to take leave just to entertain the technician coming for 5-10 minutes.
