Digi told me that DF300Mbps not available at my building. Sigh.

I only can pick between their 100Mbps/500Mbps/1Gbps plan.

They informed me that the fibre infa is managed by TIME.

If infra from time, they won't open for 50mbps and 300mbps. Just look at Time's pricing versus Digi and you can make sense out of it.

is DiGi fibre as stable as Unifi?

if any issues, how long will they take to resolve? do they depend on unifi to fix the issues?

Mine is digi riding on unifi but yesterday unifi got connection problem at my building. Many residence reported downtime but digi connection still ON.

I'm in a bit weird situation.

I registered online for Digi Fibre 300Mbps/RM100 but they informed my building infra is managed by TIME.

Today I tried to register with TIME but my building is not covered by them. I already double check with their support agent and got the same answer.

It's covered by Unifi fibre.

Haha this is indeed weard. Maybe you can check with a few neighbour and survey what fibre broadband they are using. Or try to find out from your building management/JMB committee. When confirm no Time internet then you proceed with Digi.

You should be able to see the Fibre Infra Provider if u check via their official website (Their website won't show but API returns)

https://www.samsam123.name.my/digi-check-infra/

u can use this to check , it will shows u which fibre infra provider providing services in ur area
for my case mine is under TIME and yes im using TIME for now (unifi also pull fibre already but not sure why they never activate the DP)

Anyone using 300mbps here, but speedtest only detected 100mbps?
Since switching to Digi Fiber, mine has been detecting 100mbps only instead of 300mbps.

I used Digi original router and my own Asus router, also detected 100mbps only.

Lodge formal complain to Digi and MCMC simultaneously. This is clearly speed miscap problem from Digi side or the BTU.

Try changing the LAN cable that connects to the modem/router.

Are you using a new BTU/modem when u install digi fiber or same BTU from old service provider? I have experienced the same issue previously when upgrading my service to above 100Mbps on Unifi. Apparently, the original BTU/modem supplied only FE ports instead of GE.

Hi, to you guys on digi fibre, i have a question. Do most of you use the zyxel router provided, or use own router? And if you're using own router, can recommend a good one? Those that can be left on 365/24-7 without overheating.

Is the wifi reception good throughout the house with just that router? i live in a single storey landed (but old landed property so house is kinda longish compared to modern houses) i been using i150 for past 5 yrs or so on an archer mr200 router, first coupled with a tp-link extender and currently using tenda mw3 so that there's signal if I'm at the living room (the router is all the way at the back of the house because that's the only spot where i can get strong 4g signal)

the installer guy is coming next tuesday to install the fibre, but if the router they give suck, i want to go and buy one first this weekend.

I have registered for the promo and CS confirmed RM80 per month for 300 mbps for 12 months and subsequent 12 months rm100 per month

RM150 - RM30 Postpaid 90 user - RM 20 fibre Rebate - RM20 CNY 2022 Angpau promo = RM80 for first 12 months.

Now pending installation

Not bad considering I was paying RM89 for Tmnut unifi prior

Zyxel router won't give you as good coverage as compared to mesh wifi router. You can probably use you MW3 provided if the following are met :
1) supports digi VLAN or manual VLAN setting.
2) If your package is only 100Mbps or below since the Port only supports Fast Ethernet connection

If you are on a tight budget i would recommend for TP-Link Archer Wifi 6 (e.g AX10) or Asus Wifi 6 (e.g RT-AX55) router as a start with mesh capability in case you need to expand your coverage later. I know both brand supports digi VLANs

Thank you for replying. I signed up for the DF150 (300mbps) package. AFAIK tenda mw3 only suitable for up to 100mbps, if i need mesh extender, i'll need to buy mw6. my budget is around 500-600rm. Around 700rm also okay. As long as it works well. Thnx
