Will check again today. One more thing, affin app keeps crashing when I click to login to see account. Already on latest version. Since yesterday.

yes. this is the scary part.
no temporary lock card and some more no pending transaction that you can see.

and sometimes they did not send SMS to inform you of transactions even when these transactions are without TAC. doh.gif doh.gif

eg i recently use ~RM500 in Trip.com, not saved card, but still no TAC required, and no SMS at all informing of this transaction. shocking.gif

The bank rejected me 2 times. Is it hard to apply for an increase in credit limit?

i have requested credit limit increase every year for the past 3 years. Every year, I request for an increase of 5k.
To back the increase, my salary has increased due to change of job or promotion.
For me, it is not hard but the processing can be long from 1 week to 3 weeks.

Not for my case
My initial approved credit limit is just RM5K, so I applied for a credit limit increase after 6 months, but was rejected.
I applied again a few weeks ago, since I've been using almost 1 year so far. Again, it was rejected.
I attached all required and sufficient documents, and I believe my income is more than enough for the limit that I requested.
I have no idea what the judgment of increasing the credit limit is, even though RM5K is enough for me to auto debit my insurance to gain RM30/mth.
But I can't apply DUO+ if the limit is less than RM12K, but I thought income & commitment are the key requirements for applying credit card, but Affinbank take its credit limit into consideration?

Does anyone know why Affin Bank is still using OTP for transaction approval when they have the affinsecure? This is for my case, not sure if everyone is facing this as well.

Why not as long as you know how to make good use of their respective cashback.

I'm new to Affin Visa Cashback so I wish sifus here can enlighten me about the interval for RM30 monthly cashback cap.
I would like to know the monthly cashback cap is based on statement cycle or per calendar month?

My statement cycle is on 14th of each month.

Which of the following is true:

Based on statement cycle: Spending RM1000 from 14/8/2025 to 13/9/2025 will entitled to RM30 cashback, any further spending within this cycle would not receive cashback.

or

Based on per calendar month: Spending RM1000 from 1/8/2025 to 31/8/2025 will entitled to RM30 cashback, any further spending within current month would not receive cashback.

Very few merchants use Affin terminal so unlikely you spend on 13/9 will be posted on 13/9 but 14/9 or 15/9 or later.
So if you want to get RM30 Cashback, transactions POSTED on 14/8-13/9 >RM1000 (so better swipe on 14/8-11/9 and don't swipe on 12/9 & 13/9)

Transactions posted on 14/9 (Sep statement) -> October CB.

So the cap is based on statement cycle, not month. Thank you for the useful information.

That means if I spend RM1000 and posted on 10/8, RM30 cashback will be posted on 14/8.
Then I spend another RM1000 and posted on 15/8, another RM30 cashback will be posted on 14/9.
Right?

This is so much different from Ambank True Visa credit card as it is based on per month calendar, and it refers to transaction date not posted date.

Affin Bank can convert the outstanding balance to 6 months at 0%. Received an SMS, I think it is for above RM3,000.
