Ok thanks, I looked at the site again
https://www.affinalways.com/en/affin-duo. Looks like my Misc expenses won't be qualified. For me, seems this will probably be a card to be kept in my back pocket for the Occasional large Lazada/Shoppee Purchase.
A few more questions:
1. What qualifies as an Online Purchase? if I do monthly top-up my phone plan through the local app (Digi/Maxis/Celcom), is it considered online? Does patreon / twitch subscriptions count? Is there a list or definition that describes Online Purchase?
2. Is it still viable to Top up Ewallet for Cash Back and then Duitnow back into back account? with TnG 1% fee on reload, this means that it would still be possible to get Cash Back of at least RM20 per month for RM1k topup?
3. If I don't have a saving account with Affin, how can I check the CC Statement Balance? Do I need to download and set up the App on phone?
1. Look for thread regarding Mcc list. It'll help you. In general, if you pay online, it should be online purchase unless to go gov sites. Subscription is under autobiling if you chose for it to be auto deduct. Autobiling is also under this card benefit.
2. You can do it as long as the e-wallet provider allow it. Rules are getting tighter for withdrawal.
3. You can create an online account with your credit card. Don't need a savings account.
