I think they will regret allowing people to topup Ewallet, but let's see. Can topup Bigpay and Sarawakpay to get free money and then withdraw.
*
Not everyone can play cash-out at SarawakPay.
You are different, you can spend actively but not most of the people in LYN (some already got banned)

Affin Bank, The Curve, MyTown, Boustead are all indirectly owned by Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera.

Applied on Tuesday

I dare not to apply online already. All rejected.

Cimb ecard and grabcard

Maybank and CIMB use Artificial Intelligence Robot to approve or reject your online application. No human is needed.

Affin is not so efficient, human will read your application and analyse your financial capability. Human may follow up with the applicant for more supporting documents.

Just receive at 5am

RM0.00 We thank you for your interest in our Affinbank credit card however we wish to inform that your application has not been successful.
*
Applied too many credit facilities in the past few months.
High outstanding balance as at 31/7/2020 as you were playing too many games but not willing to pay extra before next monthly statements were issued!

I think CCRIS just for their reference only. Even you got 100% clean "0" on your CCRIS. It does not promise you will get approval I think.

Depends on your profile. I think your profile is strong enough brows.gif

Hope they process my application before CCRIS updated this month. My outstanding is high as on 31/08/2020... haha
*
Haha my 31/7 outstanding balance a bit high, but 31/8 outstanding balance / approved credit limits is less than 4%. So I may apply only next week. smile.gif

Outstanding / Lower CL -> Higher utilization rate
Outstanding / Higher CL -> Lower utilization rate

I need to stop requesting banks to reduce my CL  hmm.gif
*
Total CL x5% (or outstanding balance whichever higher) is another risk factor that some banks may consider when you apply for a new credit facility (other than CC).
Better to request card issuers to reduce CL, I had done so for some CC CL.

5% of total CL is considered high utilization? I enjoy interest free 20 days for my cc always...
*
5% of CL is the maximum possible monthly commitment from CC. Not really related to utilization.
With monthly income and other monthly financial commitments. Then bank may figure out how much a person can increase his monthly committment.

My statement date is not good as payment date is only 9th of every month. Thinking to change all statement date to 10th so payment by 30th. Hence ccris record will ‘appear’ nicer - applicable to those roll CC money in rhb/ocbc/scb high interest acc only.
*
Banks won't stop you to pay by 30th, though the payment due date is 9th of the following month!
You don't apply for a new credit facility every month, so if you intend to apply for a new credit facility, you have a few weeks to adjust the "closing" balance.

anyone know what's the lowest credit limit for this card?

if lower than 30k then I guess I can straight get approval.
*
Income requirement is RM24000/year.
So you expect the lowest credit limit >RM30000 ? tongue.gif

Long long time never hold a Classic credit card lor...

I see thanks.
If there's no fixed commitment only credit card debts, there will be no conclusion for DSR then!
What will be the next thing they look at? Credit utilisation % of the credit cards?
*
Then your total approved credit limits x5% as a guide.

that's mean high CL card will affect the DSR?

*
Worst case scenario.
You use up all your credit limits, 5% minimum monthly payment. To estimate your stress level.

I want to apply this Duo cc but Affinbank branch is too far away from my house, 35min drive.
if I apply via eform, is it a must go branch to do bio verification?
*
As I was informed, but not sure if it is true, you can email/WhatsApp the forms and supporting documents to your local branch, once it is approved then you go to the branch for verification and collect the cards.

I think bank has the control on it.
I experienced with HSBC, the SST only charge once you activated the card.
*
I remember I had both Visa and MasterCard from Affin many years ago, I never activated both cards and the cards got expired for activation and card accounts got terminated after a few months. So if Duo MasterCard is not activated after a few months, will Duo Visa be deactivated automatically when Duo MasterCard get expired for activation? smile.gif

i'll do the experiment..
won't be activating the rewards card..
will see how it goes.. biggrin.gif
*
Another experiment...
6 months later if not activated, will Duo MasterCard account go disappeared, ie terminated by system automatically?
If Duo MasterCard is terminated by the system automatically, will Duo Visa be still functioning well?

SC JOP is your another choice, you can spend RM2100 regardless of MCC (including Government MCC).

By 28th September if they still cannot approve my card, better I cancel it and take PB Visa Signature...submitted on 8th and still cannot get approved....certainly the worst bank on earth.
*
Adui so desperated to get Affin CC meh, I am yet to apply for Affin Duo, still happy with Maybank, PB and SC.

Public Bank VS + Quantum Duo are better than Affin Duo. Affin Duo are Classic Card, not on par with Platinum or Signature.

Aiyo, I am also desperated to get my affin bank duo card. Waiting 2 weeks no reply. just hope can get the rm80 in Sep...
PBB Duo only cash back for max 30, not enough..
Spent full in Boost every month and if can get bonus 80 then it is better than none.. rm80 can pump petrol for one week
*
PBB: 38 (VS) +30 (QV) +30 (QM) + campaign cashbacks

Affin Duo: max RM80, hardly see any campaign in the past! Interactions with the bank (branch, card centre) can be a bit painful (not only credit cards but other banking products as well)

No doubt you can have both. A bit weird if someone give up PB VS/Quantum for Affin Duo.

i got my PB VS and SC JOP when monthly CB were RM60 and RM85 respectively, but now RM38 and RM60 only. So Affin
Duo Visa's CB of RM80 is just the beginning!
