Applied too many credit facilities in the past few months.
High outstanding balance as at 31/7/2020 as you were playing too many games but not willing to pay extra before next monthly statements were issued!

Haha my 31/7 outstanding balance a bit high, but 31/8 outstanding balance / approved credit limits is less than 4%. So I may apply only next week.

Total CL x5% (or outstanding balance whichever higher) is another risk factor that some banks may consider when you apply for a new credit facility (other than CC).
Better to request card issuers to reduce CL, I had done so for some CC CL.

5% of CL is the maximum possible monthly commitment from CC. Not really related to utilization.
With monthly income and other monthly financial commitments. Then bank may figure out how much a person can increase his monthly committment.

Banks won't stop you to pay by 30th, though the payment due date is 9th of the following month!
You don't apply for a new credit facility every month, so if you intend to apply for a new credit facility, you have a few weeks to adjust the "closing" balance.

Income requirement is RM24000/year.
So you expect the lowest credit limit >RM30000 ?

Then your total approved credit limits x5% as a guide.

Worst case scenario.
You use up all your credit limits, 5% minimum monthly payment. To estimate your stress level.

As I was informed, but not sure if it is true, you can email/WhatsApp the forms and supporting documents to your local branch, once it is approved then you go to the branch for verification and collect the cards.

I remember I had both Visa and MasterCard from Affin many years ago, I never activated both cards and the cards got expired for activation and card accounts got terminated after a few months. So if Duo MasterCard is not activated after a few months, will Duo Visa be deactivated automatically when Duo MasterCard get expired for activation?

6 months later if not activated, will Duo MasterCard account go disappeared, ie terminated by system automatically?
If Duo MasterCard is terminated by the system automatically, will Duo Visa be still functioning well?

SC JOP is your another choice, you can spend RM2100 regardless of MCC (including Government MCC).

Adui so desperated to get Affin CC meh, I am yet to apply for Affin Duo, still happy with Maybank, PB and SC.

Public Bank VS + Quantum Duo are better than Affin Duo. Affin Duo are Classic Card, not on par with Platinum or Signature.

PBB: 38 (VS) +30 (QV) +30 (QM) + campaign cashbacks

Affin Duo: max RM80, hardly see any campaign in the past! Interactions with the bank (branch, card centre) can be a bit painful (not only credit cards but other banking products as well)

No doubt you can have both. A bit weird if someone give up PB VS/Quantum for Affin Duo.

i got my PB VS and SC JOP when monthly CB were RM60 and RM85 respectively, but now RM38 and RM60 only. So Affin
Duo Visa's CB of RM80 is just the beginning!
