You mean they don't allow you to apply for the Wise card? I applied and got my Wise card in Dec.
*
oh really? Means they open up now again, cos last time they 'discontinued' the card. I had WISE card doggone years ago, during cancellation the staff told me that this card will be discontinue so you are not able to apply again.

Don't confuse Wise and Mach.
Wise never discontinued.

You're not the first to ask that & no one knows the answer. You'll have to take your own risk & argue with the CS if you get RM50 instead of RM80.
*
i think even now we call CS seek for clarification they can't give a definite answer too .. whistling.gif

Is this two statements contradicted?

With the revised T&C.
RM50 rebate for RM3,000 spend (1.66%)
RM30 rebate for RM1,000 spend (3%)

Just like another Ambank Truevisa now. bruce.gif

Not sure on pledged FD.
But property yes, can be charged to both Affin and Affin Islamic, 2 charges instead of 1 charge.

My AFFIn Duo cards were charged rm25 sst (x2) on yesterday 12Feb, and my rebate of rm80 should come on 14Feb. I think it is no longer viable to use these cards by pledging with rm5k CASA. When and how should I cancel the cards without paying the rm25x2 sst but still enjoying the incoming rm80 rebate?

With the new t&c I think it is also not viable with rm5k pledged FD.

What's more viable than 3% a month? Unless you have a very profitable business than earns significantly higher than what FD is paying?

to me, still have to spend RM3050 instead of RM3080 to get the RM50cb, until I get a better cb card.

Currently using PBB VS/PBB Plat-i/Affin Duo , any other good cb card I should look at ?

Look at Maybank Amex Islamic Amex Ikhwan
8% cashback on online spend (exclusion ewallet reload , but if you know where to bypass it is good)
Cap RM 50 per month, spending required RM 630 only.

Double quota on Rahmadan and Syawal month = RM 100 per month / RM 1260 spending
Whole year potential cashback RM 700 - RM 25 SST = RM 675

Say i can get 2% extra out of the 5k fd somewhere else of 100/yr.
So rm30x12=360, sstx2=50.
Basical my benefits/yr is only 360-50-100=210 with a spending of 12k, effective 1.75%.
Better for me to pledge fd to get PIB VisaPlat.

Thanks. Good breakdown. I will reconsider mine when my GST comes. I applied a year later than most of you guys. I started skipping those 1.x% when I am out of sources to spend.

Yes, you should go for PB Islamic and other cards with higher % cashback.
