Applied Duo yesterday.
Let's see how Affin efficiency works.

If until 28 i haven't received any feedback, i might just go to CIMB e-Card.

Wah 1 week already make noise, some banks you need to wait for 1 month.

daheck, is that common case ?
Wow, i thought the CC request will take shorter if you have good credit history ....
(I applied new CC previously takes 2 weeks , but i thought it was delayed due to new history)

2010 - March 2015 SST RM50/card
April 2015 - May 2018 GST: AF @ 6%
Sep2018-now SST RM25/card

GST is good and fair to you as a T20 income tax payer. I don't see it is a bad thing, look at 7% -> 9% Singapore, 10% Thailand, 10% Australia, 20% UK/France.
Don't be misled by PKR+DAP in the past, not +6% cost at all levels though yes in tax invoices.
Car is cheaper under GST@6%, compared to Sales Tax @10%.
*
Theoritically.
But the execution..
GST Refund tooks so long and tedious, a lot of merchant/level just decided to charge extra 6% as cost of operation.
And once the government have your money as GST, think how long they will reimburse it back to u.

You will only get RM50 from the ewallet, like my case i do have an auto billing for my insurance RM260 monthly using this card, however I only get back RM50 cashback every month. Perhaps you need to swipe until the outstanding bill is more than RM3200 in order to get the additional cashback?

If your previous month spending less than 3080 , you only eligible for RM 50 max cashback
RM 1667 for RM 50 cashback (max)
so you need to make up the remaining RM 1400 elsewhere.

What if i reload RM1667 to ewallet, then RM260 to autobilling insurance, then RM300 to online shopping, then RM860 to other ewallet to fulfill the total bill of RM3080 outstanding amount?

Also will get back only RM50 cashback? If so then i feel that my autobilling of RM260 that i transferred from my other credit card to this Affin duo is useless already.
*
You will get Rm 50 from the Rm 1667 ewallet
RM 7.8 from the Rm 260 autobilling
RM 10 from the online shopping

Total RM 67.8

The RM 860 ewallet wont count in cashback.

..... now not much incentive to hunt for extra rm 20 cashback .
just throw 3% of 1k = get 30 out of 1030 ,
1 transaction direct reload ewallet will do.

The truth is 3% rebate with 1k spend is still acceptable with RM 30 rebate per month, kinda one of the good one in the market.

The subsequent 4% cashback is PBI Ikhwan , just with a plus of 2x lounge access per year.

Just that people are too used for the RM 80 per month cashback already.

I just wonder they say start from 13 March , i wonder how they calculate it
my statement is also 14 monthly , so if lets say i spend 3080 at 14 feb to 12 march, not sure i'm eligible or not

to me, still have to spend RM3050 instead of RM3080 to get the RM50cb, until I get a better cb card.

Currently using PBB VS/PBB Plat-i/Affin Duo , any other good cb card I should look at ?
*
Look at Maybank Amex Islamic Amex Ikhwan
8% cashback on online spend (exclusion ewallet reload , but if you know where to bypass it is good)
Cap RM 50 per month, spending required RM 630 only.

Double quota on Rahmadan and Syawal month = RM 100 per month / RM 1260 spending
Whole year potential cashback RM 700 - RM 25 SST = RM 675

So actually with this kind of rule
3% cashback , Rm 30 capped with e-wallet ,
max RM 50 for RM 3050 spending balance

=
RM 1000 -- ewallet (RM 30 at rate of 3%)
RM 667 -- online (RM 20 at rate of 3%)
RM 1383 elsewhere to make up the balance of 3050

I looking for affin duo+ and just applied duo+ together with duo through pledge conventional FD for RM10000 last month.

At that time I though 2 pairs cc can pledge in 1 FD, the banker didn't confirm with management and just help me submit. Now approved affin duo only ..

They gv me suggestion pledge islamic FD but need RM12000 for duo+. So total is RM22000 for 2 pairs cc...

I just curious that the amount would be that high for both pairs cc?

High is good for Affin.
Affin cashback use statement balance.

You can apply BT for affin duo to reduce amount of spending.

Eg 10000 limit for duo

use 7500 for BT 12m 0% , 625 per month

So you need
1000 e-wallet
667 online
758 other spending --> your balance 2500 credit limit is used here

(+) 625 BT = statement balance of 3050 , to get 50 CB per month

If Affin nerf then no replacement already

already nerfed..
Affin Duo used to RM 80 per month
The only good thing of Affin Duo is you can use the Balance Transfer amount to push up the statement balance, hence able to effective 3% cashback instead of meagre 1.64%
