QUOTE(adele123 @ Oct 5 2020, 03:28 PM) so there are a mixed of feedbacks on changing statement dates for affin cards. I called CS just now for CIP and change statement date. I called last Friday, the CS didnt let me change statement date. I called again, this CS very nicely help me change. According to her, 14, 16, 22 are the only available dates. so, for those who failed the 1st time, dont give up and try again. i didnt want to scold the CS the first time, but it's a reflection of Affin CS training la. Mine was 22nd, it just screws up all my other scheduling with other cards. so i had to change it. just dislike end of month statement date. 14 is somewhat tolerable. it alway has pros & cons. if you have big amount 5k-10k to spend at month end, you can use this card (22th) and the repayment is 45days later, instead of your all your card at beginning of the months. now all the bank have SI, you can set to pay credit card on exact due date. if you have flexi loan, the 10k - 45days sit in your account can bring small fortune since it is daily interest.

QUOTE(marukopi @ Oct 5 2020, 09:08 AM) 11/9 - apply website 14/9 - biometric 18/9 - application submitted - appear in CCRIS as pending and IVR pending 5/10 - still pending its normally take a while becoz agent normally submit once they come back to HQ office. but from submission to approval, should not take very long. QUOTE(kidmad @ Oct 5 2020, 09:18 AM) same process with mine.. don't worry about it.. i got my card today only. but i requested them to do within AFFIN bank itself. In my case, seems like they have no record in their system of the application, but they assigned two different officers to follow up. I'm guessing the first one that received my application from the bank website didn't actually submit the forms properly.

QUOTE(adele123 @ Oct 5 2020, 12:34 PM) mine was not exactly fast either, some here seems faster. from biometric to approval of card was 12 days for me. maybe wait few more days, if not call the sales agent or CS? Might wait few days more. Otherwise might call to withdraw.

QUOTE(LovelyPotato @ Oct 6 2020, 11:11 AM) Can we activate only the Visa card and ignore the MasterCard? Well, you can try but no effect if you are trying to avoid paying SST... SST will be charged on Visa and not MasterCard.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 4 2020, 05:31 PM) Why not? I have more than 25 now. BNM only has requirements for those earning below 36k to have cards from two issuing banks. Otherwise, there's no limit so long banks approve. Never cancel them? Now ewallet limits and bigpay limits, no point to keep them right. My high day was 17 only. Cut a few each time bigpay limits them, boost then stopped withdrawals. Now left 8. Scb 2, affin 3, maybank 1, pbb 2, Ambank 1. SCB gonna go once I make use of the card retention benefit. And ambank don't really use anymore since affinduo came into play.

Like I said, I don't use all, some are required for travels and etc. Also, all this while my spending is not about BP and Boost. Affin Duo is good but others are good as backup.
