it's a feature for both bigpay (withdrawal) and affinduo (plain b&w eligible for a range of ewalllets)

VS 3% @ RM80 still holding on strong, although limited to contactless for the time being -- this VS not good enough to replace Quantum Visa, but good as backup

Affin dont have to regret as they allow it for cashback calculation. it only impact their P&L, which already scoped into their business case when coming up with this Duo card. Else, they wouldn't so upfront in listing the ewallets out It's more of tactical approach to target ewallet spending.

payment cards are just the topup source (souce of funding) --> ewallets

majority of the work is on these ewallets providers because they need to keep maintaining and reporting the withdrawal activities.

for existing Affin cardholders, can use the Add Card form. minor things to fill up.

however, transaction MUST be posted on T-1 day in order for the cashback to be calculated and credited on statement date (T).

if a transaction falls on statement date (T), the cashback will be calculated in next statement date.

Affin will be having a 1-day approval on 8 Sep (special day) for walk-in or hand-in applications.

should be applicable to any branch.

info gotten from Affin staff as i'm applying for a second set of Duo cards (different principal) via hand-in. the staff just met the individual to collect documents and sign the application form.

the staff said she will submit on 8 Sep application since it will be a 1-day approval day.

yep, my affin staff also initially said 7 Sep (Mon) got 1-day approval. Then she corrected the date to 8 Sep (Tue)

quantum visa: any contactless txn less than rm600 (total monthly cumulative spend also rm600) -- max cb rm30

affin vs: any contactless txn less than rm250 (total monthly cumulative spend rm2667) -- max cb rm80

my other principal application (NTB, by hand-in to Affin staff), she also asked whether to deliver to home or office address before receiving any approval status.

still ok la, during MCO, my VS was automatically delivered to branch! kinda counter-intuitive considering the SOP for banks.
