Slow-mo video are not really good way to prove.


Not saying 90Hz or 120Hz are useless, but most people exaggerated it's effectiveness in real life, can be just placebo effect.

I'm using 100Hz PC monitor, do I felt different when browsing, watch youtube ? absolutely no. Only when games capable of 80-100fps can I felt it.
How does a game which my PC can only run around 40fps on my 100Hz monitor ? felt sluggish.

90Hz or 120Hz display, need to pair with OS or software capable of utilize it. I'm not yet confident that xiaomi and thus poco already perfect MIUI to 90fps or 120fps ( waiting MIUI 12 please ) so really it's just certain games that support 90-120Hz can you enjoy it.

Phonearena ran about the same test. Result is almost the same too. I'm quite frustrated with xda moderators because they haven't created a thread for k30 pro/F2 pro eventhough quite a number of members have requested to open one. I'm waiting for miui 12 and also for the dev to upload share their work on 80hz.

Everything goes up in costs, including phones. Maybe the only way they can manage that is to revert to the same build quality as the first Poco and throw in a SD855 chipset instead

It would be better if they take out the 5G Modem and replace it with MicroSD reader or bigger battery, 5G is not necessary or needed now

Cant. SD865 only pair with 1 modem, which integrated 5G and LTE together. So SD865 mandatory comes with 5G.

I edy black-listed Snap865... Stop buying non-essentials item...LOL... looking towards Snap768G... if they price it right, will only then consider... I edy tested Snap855/855+... need to feel the brand new 768G pulak...

On paper 768G should be powerful enough, using similar Cortex A76 + A55 as SD855
I'm using mi9T SD730 so I'm perfectly happy with it's performance.

Many people still prefer to have SD Cards, local backup / storage is better than cloud. Even 256GB runs out of space easily on my iPhone.

I think that'd be possible a few months after launch, hopefully.

I watched two videos comparing standard k30 pro and zoom edition (one without OIS while the other dual OIS), not much different in terms of pictures and video quality. But then again I still opted for zoom edition lol.

I want that too... they re-branded to give positive impressions to the public (and tech enthusiasts...(?)). But, just watch YouTube will do so far... see whether this so-called "Diamond-City" is reliable or not... if the ISP can produce at par pix and vix during night-sight, then we have options to the "ultra-hyper-expensive" Snap865...

So the only difference between the K30 Pro Zoom and non Zoom is only the OIS and nothing else?

Hardware wise, it's the camera setup. The zoom edition replaces macro lens on regular pro with 3x telephoto lens with OIS iinm. So no telephoto lens and hybrid zoom on regular pro and can only digital zoom up to 10x. The zoom edition can hybrid zoom upto 30x. The regular pro still looks promising I think, who wants to zoom 30x anyway lol. Other than that the regular pro only has EIS in main camera while the zoom one has OIS instead.
