It would be better if they take out the 5G Modem and replace it with MicroSD reader or bigger battery, 5G is not necessary or needed now

Unless they downgrade spec for Poco F2 standard version. Then maybe yes.

VoLTE, by default is not enabled on most Xiaomi phones, Poco F2 Pro included.

If you want to enable VoLTE, check your
• Settings
• SIM Cards & mobile networks
• Your Telco (eg. Digi)

If VoLTE is not stated in the page, your VoLTE is not enabled.

To enable VoLTE, go to your dialler & type
*#*#86583#*#*

You will get a message that "VoLTE carrier check was disabled"

Now go back to "Settings/SIM card.../Your Telco" & you will see the VoLTE toggle button appearing: button slided to the right means VoLTE is now activated, and a small notification will now appear on the top left notification bar.

NB: please note not all Telco has activated VoLTE services

Thanks for the share.
Just knew we have to manually activate for Xiaomi phone. Adoi...
Now activated.

Nice... So volte works with digi so far, no issue, any hiccups? What about vowifi? *#*#869434#*#*

Wish I could try this on my phone but maxis doesn't support both 😭
*
Thanks for the info.
Now activated VoWifi

[1+] brings in a new NORD to attack midrange segment or trying to disrupt Poco price segment?
*
Doubt likely. Nord price started at Euro 399 with Qualcomm 765G.
F2 RM 2k with 865G.

Poco F2 Pro 8/256 Rm2089 on laz flashsale. Seems like no one buying this. Or no one noticed? 🤔
*
Not from Xiaomi official store.
Btw, thanks for the update.

Hahaha... what's a good price for the Mi 10 Pro? RM2,999?
*
I guess the same price RM 2999 from the original price of RM 3899.

Kinda interested in oneplus, despite the fiasco as of late and disappointing upgrade on oneplus 10. Hopefully 1+ 11 won't follow suit.
*
I read somewhere mentioned that 1+ handset would be started using ColorOS ROM (under Oppo) than existing OxygenOS ROM.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this statement.

Its true, but what more disappointing is that they currently lock engineering mode on A12. So currently A12 users can't change mbn preference to get volte/vowifi working.

Adoi .. pity those users...
