Okay what if we get the k30pro zoom edition instead of pocof2p.....will the band work fine here in malaysia...?

They also put UFS3.1 in Poco F2 Pro so it should be fine.

I don't have the phone myself but I think it shouldn't be a problem unless our telcos here decide to overwrite previous LTE band with B20. As far as I know we don't use B20 here in Malaysia.

As for ads that come with the stock China ROM, flashing xiaomi.eu ROM will get rid of those, but that will void the warranty I think? But that's not really a problem to me since there hasn't been a single phone yet that I didn't root or jailbreak from day one once I got them. Screw warranty, never use them anyway 🤣

According to the information in GSMArena (I could not find the information on Xiaomi Malaysia official website), Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition support 4G FDD-LTE band 1/3/5/7/8 and 4G TDD-LTE 38/39/40/41.

The phone works fine on MAXIS, CELCOM, Digi, U Mobile and even TM Unifi, but unfortunately not on YES 4G because it has not supported 4G band 20.

If you are not a user of YES 4G, then it's okay for you to get the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition.

YES 4G is using 4G band 20.

Lets all hope this is true!

Edit: The B20 is for commercial use? On Wikipedia it says its for trial under Yes 4G.

Edit2: Found an article Yes 4g deploys B20 in some areas in KL/Selangor.

Maybe our government wants to commercialize the B20.

If Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition is officially launched in Malaysia, I believe Xiaomi will give 4G B20 to the phone.

All Xiaomi Redmi phones that officially launched in Malaysia have 4G band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20/38/40.

For U Mobile users, 4G band 7 is the most important for them.
