QUOTE(lucaswjk @ May 13 2020, 10:30 PM) Love for this kid will highly depend on the pricing in Malaysia QUOTE(kuci_mayong @ May 14 2020, 07:46 AM) I doubt it will be this cheap, probably rm2200-2400 Got one, bro. There’s no snapdragon 865 below rm2800 at the moment. https://www.lowyat.net/2020/211837/black-sh...-price-directd/ QUOTE(kuci_mayong @ May 14 2020, 09:33 AM) X50 pro hasn’t officially release in Malaysia right? Actually I wouldn't mid getting the X50 Pro if it launches here at about RM2.4k or so. Been using Realme UI for more than a month now and it's pretty good. I definitely enjoy it more than MIUI At the moment can only get x2 pro, and that phone hasn’t dropped in price since launch in December. |

QUOTE(kuci_mayong @ May 14 2020, 09:46 AM) So far looks promising for poco f2 pro pricing, can’t wait for the launch in Malaysia. Yeah, but for a brand like Realme, I expected the X2 to be priced below RM2k. And like you said, the price just wouldn't drop even though I have half an eye on it for some time The Realme x2 pro also not bad, to be honest. |

QUOTE(kuci_mayong @ May 14 2020, 09:52 AM) Before realme 6 I actually thought “who would buy the Realme x2 pro for rm2399?” Better go for Samsung or Huawei, but when you look at the specs, it’s actually much much cheaper than their Samsung or Huawei counterparts. Haha, yeah, I feel you. I had the Realme 5 which was a bit of a pain, but they really upped their game on the Realme 6 even with a MTK processor! Anyways, that's a discussion for another thread! Now I actually have good impression of realme, they are basically the new Xiaomi (how Xiaomi was last time offering affordable flagships), cause even now Xiaomi starting to charge more and more for their flagship models. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the Poco launcher and am now using it on my Redmi Note 5. First impressions are not so good, but will give it another couple of days or so to try |

QUOTE(GAME_ON @ May 14 2020, 10:30 AM) They have to cut back on cost somewhere... QUOTE(Omochao @ May 14 2020, 10:50 AM) realme 6 pro at 1.4k can even provide stereo speakers and 90hz, i wonder what the heck is Poco doing with this, not even stereo speakers. No, the Realme 6 Pro has a single-firing speaker with above average loudness, but that's about it. QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 14 2020, 10:55 AM) Dont think 60Hz to 120Hz display refresh rate are technology breakthrough Exactly, so if the OS/software isn't optimised, the 90hz refresh rates helps provide the "feeling" that everything is silky smooth I havent own smartphone with over 60Hz display refresh rate yet, so cant be 100% sure, but I think the 'smoothness of user experience' largely affected by OS/software optimization. When I use OG Pixel XL few years back, I'm amazed at that iOS level smoothness, but when 'upgraded' to newer phone like poco F1 and xiaomi mi9T, that extreme smoothness gone missing. Poco F1 does felt fast but not smooth. IMO what's require are higher than 60hz, let's say 90Hz. So when framerate dropped ( which happened on games required heavy resources ), it dropped from 90fps to 72fps etc, which still felt smooth. |

All the reviews I've read or seen of the K30 Pro is average at best. A lot will depend on the pricing on whether the F2 Pro will be a good buy or not

QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 15 2020, 04:33 PM) I think that'd be possible a few months after launch, hopefully. So the only difference between the K30 Pro Zoom and non Zoom is only the OIS and nothing else?I watched two videos comparing standard k30 pro and zoom edition (one without OIS while the other dual OIS), not much different in terms of pictures and video quality. But then again I still opted for zoom edition lol. |

QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 15 2020, 05:14 PM) Hardware wise, it's the camera setup. The zoom edition replaces macro lens on regular pro with 3x telephoto lens with OIS iinm. So no telephoto lens and hybrid zoom on regular pro and can only digital zoom up to 10x. The zoom edition can hybrid zoom upto 30x. The regular pro still looks promising I think, who wants to zoom 30x anyway lol. Other than that the regular pro only has EIS in main camera while the zoom one has OIS instead. Ok bro, thanks for the detailed explanation. I think that's not really a deal breaker for me since I'm not into serious photography or stuffs. Just wanna test the phone. Hope it comes soon QUOTE(jcksn81 @ May 15 2020, 06:20 PM) They also put UFS3.1 in Poco F2 Pro so it should be fine. |

QUOTE(Salary @ May 17 2020, 01:04 PM) Might as well go buy Galaxy Flip Z. Paying 4 times over just to get it slightly earlier is ridiculous. I wonder which market they’re targeting. QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 17 2020, 01:28 PM) I'm pretty sure it's just a "placeholder" of some sort. Suspect the phone will be made official pretty soon |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ May 17 2020, 03:43 PM) Correct lohhh... 3 units for RM8,000. Different colours summore... So, it's "official" the SRP is: = RM8,000 ÷ 3 = RM2,666 ~ RM2,599 QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 17 2020, 04:45 PM) Hahaha, we will see 2,599 is still a bit high-priced for me. Can almost get a OP8 at that price already. This post has been edited by attw: May 17 2020, 04:49 PM |
