QUOTE(prolexus @ May 14 2020, 12:52 AM) 60Hz ancient screen technology is a major turn off for me...add that to no ois and optical zoom lense in their camera. Some like you may say its ancient, just like 1080p ppl often say its an old tech considering, but fact of the matter is 60hz and 1080p is still acceptable standard today, its more than enough for most ppl. Somemore most the games and apps still dont support higher refresh rates anyway and not to mention its drain battery like vampire also...yes higher refresh rates its nice to have, but its certainly not a deal breaker....5G is kind of redundant also when none of our telco is offering. I think next year also most probably 5G still not yet operational in Malaysia. Ps: if you guys put a 90hz refresh rates as your main priority, bigger than other spec....please buy the realme 6 then and you can enjoy scrolling your apps drawer all day long....its alot cheaper somemore... QUOTE(marcyeo @ May 13 2020, 08:20 PM) Poco F2 Pro...I think I am quite impressed..if the price in Malaysia for base model is rm1899 or less.. I doubt it will be this cheap, probably rm2200-24001.snapdragon 865 2. 30w fast charge 3. 4700 mah battery 4. Cheapest 5G fon 5. full screen AMOLED display with no notch 6. quad camera with macro lens 7. UFS 3.1 storage 8. Liquid cooling tech with much wider area for heat dissipation etc etc etc It will be the "cheapest" flagship ever....i Miss Oneplus One era where I bought the 64gb for less than 1.3k There’s no snapdragon 865 below rm2800 at the moment. |

Haters gonna hate. Must be nice seeing a lot of other people living in an era of "ancient" technology. The only difference I could find is that, in terms of hardware, redmi k30 pro doesn't support B20 LTE (which isn't supported in Malaysia anyway). I'm guessing rhe liquid cooling thingy is the same but sorry I have no supporting evidence for this. |

Actually I wouldn't mid getting the X50 Pro if it launches here at about RM2.4k or so. Been using Realme UI for more than a month now and it's pretty good. I definitely enjoy it more than MIUI At the moment can only get x2 pro, and that phone hasn’t dropped in price since launch in December. |

Yeah, but for a brand like Realme, I expected the X2 to be priced below RM2k. And like you said, the price just wouldn't drop even though I have half an eye on it for some time The Realme x2 pro also not bad, to be honest. |

Now I actually have good impression of realme, they are basically the new Xiaomi (how Xiaomi was last time offering affordable flagships), cause even now Xiaomi starting to charge more and more for their flagship models. |

Haha, yeah, I feel you. I had the Realme 5 which was a bit of a pain, but they really upped their game on the Realme 6 even with a MTK processor! Anyways, that's a discussion for another thread! Now I actually have good impression of realme, they are basically the new Xiaomi (how Xiaomi was last time offering affordable flagships), cause even now Xiaomi starting to charge more and more for their flagship models. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the Poco launcher and am now using it on my Redmi Note 5. First impressions are not so good, but will give it another couple of days or so to try |

This phone can't given 90hz screen is to give way to his big brother Mi 10 Pro... Remember last year how's Redmi K20 Pro slam Mi 9 sales ??
To protect Mi 10 Pro so this phone have to sacrifice the 90hz refresh rate then shut up ur mouth with bigger 4700mAH battery given... This post has been edited by jcksn81: May 14 2020, 10:44 AM |
