I read somewhere mentioned that 1+ handset would be started using ColorOS ROM (under Oppo) than existing OxygenOS ROM.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this statement.

Its true, but what more disappointing is that they currently lock engineering mode on A12. So currently A12 users can't change mbn preference to get volte/vowifi working.

App wise for me no issue but I don't use that many apps but for me the most annoying thing is after the upgrade the dark mode settings are not working as it should. My apps will stay in normal mode and only the MIUI went into black mode.

Some app I can change it to black mode manually but some app does not have that option such as mysejahtera. Regret I updated to A12, should have stayed on A11

It's a shame they removed such feature. Now I have to rely on root method to get back the all apps dark mode.

As long as your sim has volte and vowifi enabled, you may use your own wifi signal as the signal to make calls

With F2 Pro, you wont get vowifi to work with maxis, unless,

i) maxis adds F2 pro to their vowifi supported list, or
ii) root your F2 pro and tinker with PDC tools.

I'm guessing option i) is almost impossible, but ii) is highly likely to work (works for me though with PDC)

Phone itself support need to check sim ->
Which leads to ->
Sim support does not mean telco support

You can't do anything about it unless you go through what mfa682 said earlier

Sure you want to do this? It's a bit meticulous since you have to flash root everytime if you want to update to latest firmware. Well if you made up your mind, here's the step.

For f2 pro, Umobile vowifi works out of the box (need to enable it with *#*#869434#*#* code though). As for Digi, f2 pro with firmware code RJKMIXM or SJKMIXM will work. The ones with RJKEUXM or SJKEUXM won't work iinm, I stand corrected.

In my experience, vowifi with umo and digi is "quite ok", because the vowifi isn't always available. It's like 80 percent of the time vowifi is available, the rest vowifi went missing and emerge again after a while. Nonetheless is a very useful feature to me whether it's stable or not.

p/s: I'm using redmi k30 pro zoom edition, which essentially a f2 pro except my camera modul got OIS but no macro lens, and it doesn't support B20. However we share the exactly the same firmware.

cool! sounds like changing telco is more viable option. do you know if Digi vowifi work with Oneplus 7 as well? Digi site only mentioned a few devices support vowifi.hmm

My humble advise is to try with their cheapest prepaid first before making a jump. Actually I learned the pdc tool trick from oneplus 7 thread. So I'm quite convinced it's not working out of the box (iirc they have to choose India Vodafone or Telefonica UK or something alike to make it work with digi), but I might be wrong though.

It seems like MIUI 14 has been made available to POCO F2 PRO global. But yet to receive the prompt for the OTA update.

I just got the global update..
Noticeable difference:
1. Extended ram now max 5GB.
2. Dark Mode is back, yay!
