I'm planning on getting a Wise card for online purchases since they have the Virtual Credit Card feature. Was wondering if there are any fees for topping up the card and also transferring the unused MYR back into your bank account?
*
Deposit money in is free. Withdrawal is subject to fees. Check their fees on their website for details.

For your purpose better off getting BigPay as you got Duitnow feature

Wise is only good for overseas transaction

Topping up the card is the same as if you're making any currency conversion via Wise. There will be fee and subject to Wise's conversion rate, but I can say at least it will be better than bank's TT. It may not be the best rate if compared to some other fintechs but it's just a lot of fluctuations daily, you'll just have to compare yourself daily or trade the minor loss in conversion for convenience.

Likewise, transferring out to bank account will also have fee and certain rates.

Pretty much nothing, I sent this as a reply to their reminder email about deactivation :

“ I was under the impression that one of the existing external accounts added previously would have the additional funds withdrawn to automatically … rather than locking the account.”

That’s it!

What email address is the reminder email coming from? Because on mine it said that email cannot be replied to (noreply @transferwise), and the refund email address that they give, they didnt reply back to my email.

The contact phone number last time someone gave in this thread also unreachable

Is it possible to get the virtual card without getting the physical card? It seems I don't see the option for that?

I replied to the email but used appeals@ address, not the noreply one. That was on Saturday 17 Dec, and I received a reply and had account unlocked on 19 Dec.

I could use my virtual card before arrival of physical cards.

But that card can only be used for online shopping. Not when paying at restaurants etc

Don't understand. How can sending money to yourself be charged? You meant send from Foreign account?

I think Wise charge RM 1.06 for any transaction to local bank, that's what he meant maybe.

I was charged too.
