It's seems like a bit gambling to threatening them.
If they seriously don't offer you request, then your connections suddenly disconnect..

Then use switching instead of termination. You can register Maxis fibre or digi fibre, then submit the transfer ID to TM. If they offer you, you can always cancel the switching. If they don't, you just let the switching process happen and you can still have your internet.

I set my AX20 and Rasp Pi 4B to reboot daily 4am. But at random times during the day my devices can just tell me no internet connection detected. I'm on static IP on all my devices. Initially I was suspecting PiHole is the problem as the moment i switch to DHCP to bypass it, internet is back and if I set back to static IP thru PiHole no internet again.

Then when I changed to AC66U PiHole settings never changed it my devices worked flawlessly. Even switching between mesh routers no loss of internet connection.

My Rasp Pi has also been configured to run as OpenVPN client using ExpressVPN service. No change from AX20 to AC66U. The CPU in AC66U is not powerful enough and it can only push out 30mbps tops.

Using Rasp Pi I can get 85 to 95mbps on my 100mbps fiber line thru ExpressVPN.

You set your devices to resolve directly via the PiHole or via the DNSmasq service on TP-Link router?

Make sure to never use DNSmasq when using PiHole no matter on ASUS or TP-Link.

Directly via PiHole, the gateway on my devices is PiHole static IP address. PiHole is running the DNS service. No DHCP service running on PiHole.

Other devices such as IPCam, TV do not use PiHole, they are on static IP, gateway is router IP address. DHCP on AX20 still running as guests come over still need to auto assign IP addresses.

Which points to me is an intermittent issue on AX20. One won't see it unless running weird network configs like me. And when it happens all devices going through PiHole shows no internet. At that time I have to reboot Rasp Pi for internet to come back.

With AC66U it only reboots once a wk and Rasp Pi still on daily auto reboot. On AX20 both devices auto reboot daily.

Issue gone away with AC66U with ZERO changes on my PiHole or OpenVPN client.

Just got my 100mbps installation this evening. The installer fixed the fiberhome ONU and Dlink Covr1100 as a router. While the wifi is good, I am getting the speed but ethernet LAN is something else, the max it can read only 10mbps. I am using mobo that supports gigabit lan and cat5 cable. Connect to my laptop also 10mbps, be it windows or linux box. But when I try to put into the older VDSL router, it can go 100mbps or to the ONU itself, it read 1000mbps but not from the Covr that TM gave me.

did that, in fact I have few new and unused cat5 cables, none of them can go more than 10mbps. Contacted installer, he admits that few customers complaint the same thing as mine.

Obviously they bluffed you. I have been calling a couple of times and ask for those special plans and no luck to get it. After you submit for termination, they will call you after 7 working days to offer your requested plan.

guess this works only for those without any contract....

Interesting, not really sure what caused the failure.

Are you still able to access the router interface on those static IP devices when that is happening?

Don't have any fees. Actually the process is just like you MNP mobile number. TM need to approve the switching only then Maxis/Celcom/Digi can come to install. So let's say TM offer you something, and you accept the offer to stay on, TM will reject your switching request and that's it. The other ISP cannot charge you for any service that has not commence.

Gone through similar experience before I gave up on Pi-Hole.

I'm clueless too. But since problem follows router I guess its an AX20 intermittent issue.

Yes i still can access router admin page thru PiHole. Also can load PiHole admin page when that happens. But rasp pi also totally looses internet.

Launching chrome on Rasp Pi cannot load any websites when that happens. Means its like its internet access gets cut off at router.

Is anyone experiencing slower speed today?
I'm on 500Mbps line but my speedtest shows 420+Mbps.

Last week, I got 500+ Mbps consistently.
